Avis
Very near to the highway, the place is quite big and has a lot of private parkings. The view is nice and there is a big place where to sit outside if you want to chill or have dinner from the resturant. The food was surely the best part, but i think it needs more employees who speak english, they are very kind but a bit unprepared to talk to foreigners. The rooms would also need to be cleaner, we could still see stains on the carpet and on the bathroom walls, but in the end all things considered that was Ok-ish. Overall a good place to stay a couple days.
A charming, old-fashioned family holiday spot with a pleasant community feel. The small swimming pool is enjoyable and well-kept. Though we only stayed for one night, the experience was delightful, and we’d have enjoyed a longer stay.
Four adults had a very good time at this resort. It was very reasonable and slept four adults in two double rooms with very comfortable beds. There was adequate wardrobe space. The hotel restaurant was very good, unfortunately it closed whilst we were there in September and the outside pool closed as well about the 13th September. It was a great base for touring the area and we really enjoyed our stay.
We stayed in an apartment rented from a seperate owner. On arrival the complex appears a little depressing and run down however our apartment was clean and what we needed for our stay albeit the aparment/gite floors are a little creaky. The outdoor pool and splash area was great and the children loved this especially to cool down in the evening make sure you wear required wristbands. This is well located for local amenities and there is more than enough to do in the area. We didn't try the restaurant and instead headed to the local town or bought provisions from nearby supermarkets. Hiring a car is essential as public transport is not an option. We found staff to be knowledgeable of the local area and helpful, even printing our boarding passes despite the fact we weren't actual guests of the hotel. My only gripe is sometimes the kareoke gets a little loud and late. Overall this was a memorable holiday and worth a stay if you are willing to overlook external appearances
We had a lovely time here. There were loads of activities for the kids to do both day and night (children's karaoke in the restaurant area). The staff were very friendly and always happy to help (including where I could find a fuse for the car). The pool was in constant use by all of us. The unit itself was very clean and a good size for a family of 5. From there we could explore the area as there was so much to do. Beach 20 mins away. Nimes around 30 mins away. Equivalent of Go Ape was 20 mins away.||||Liked it so much we are going there again next year !
I stayed for a week here in one of the two bedroom villas. The villa was quite spacious 45sq M with a patio at the front. Pools were excellent and staff v friendly. Only ate once at the hotel and we were very happy. Hotel is between Nimes and Montpellier and both towns are worth a visit. The Grand Mot is nearby. TIP. You need a car to make most of your stay|
Not a very good stay for my family and me. Quite a few things went wrong from the beginning of our stay.||We arrived late on the Saturday night. There was nobody working on reception , so my wife dealt with a security guard who wasn't completely helpful. ||||When we arrived late on Saturday night, there were no bed sheets in the room. We were promised bed sheets as part of the 'Comfort Hotel Service' which we had paid for.||Instead we found poor hospital like bed sheets on our bed. We also did not have towels in the bathroom. Hence why the next day, I had to drive to the supermarket and purchase bed linen and towels. ||||The air-conditioning was not working properly and in fact on the 3rd night of our stay, in 33 degree heat, I was absotely roasting. The hotel staff repaired this eventually but this was on the 6th night of our stay.||||We should have been given clear instructions on the facilities in the hotel and the process of checking out but were not provided this. There wasn't a communicatons problem as my wife speaks fluent French. Just a lack of commitment from management and most of the staff about making an extra bit of effort.||||When the air-conditioning was not working properly in our room, we asked reception, if we could borrow or hire a fan. They said they didn't have one. So we again had to buy our own fan.||||During the week, the management chose to close the indoor pool during the day for maintenance during peak hours when it was a very windy day and therefore cold in the outdoor pool. ||||We were also forbidden to take glasses to the pool. I can understand that from a health and safety point of view but staff did not offer plastic glasses as a substitute. ||The hotel shop called Cheval offered a poor selection of food including no bottled water in the fridge. And it wasn't open during the whole day?||||Also a lack of baggage trolleys on many occasions including our checkout days. Also a constant view of overflowing rubbish bins was quite appalling
It's a very simple hotel. Seems to have been a big ware house that got covered to an hotel. Very cold environment. Business oriented. With conference rooms for presentations or team building events.|The breakfast was bad. A buffet with very small choices.|The restaurant was amazing. All the food was superb. Congrats to the chef and all restaurant staff. will definitely return to the restaurant.|The room as small, minimalist and difficult to keep in a reasonable temperature.|The probability of visiting this hotel e really really low but will go the just for the dinner 😆
