We enjoyed our 2-night stay at the Splendid Hotel! We were assigned a deluxe room, which allowed us to enjoy our little terrace and spacious room. I had read the comments before we arrived and was a little bit worried about the check-in, but the staff was helpful and friendly, and we could check in at 2 pm. Breakfast was on the top floor and offered various options with tasty pastries! Also, the pool and hot tub on the top floor were great places to relax in the evening! We will definitely come back to the Splendid on our next trip to Nice

Great location, short tram journey from airport. Convenient for both tram and train. We arrived early but reception stored our bags and direct us to visit the Villa Ephrussi de Rothschild. Our room was spacious, spotless clean, with a balcony with a restricted view of the sea. The roof top, pool, spa, bar and restaurant were all amazing. Too cold to swim but used the warm spa pool. The restaurant menu was limited - it was the off-season - but food and wine was more than adequate and reasonably priced. We were able to take the short train journey to both Cannes and Monaco which together with exploring Nice itself made a short break feel so much longer. The hotel staff were very welcoming and friendly, feeling like a real family hotel as opposed to a chain. We would happily return.

The location of Splendid Hotel & Spa in Nice was convenient, but the hotel itself feels a little dated. Unfortunately one of the lifts was not working during our entire stay, which made things less comfortable, especially during peak hours. Could smell sewage smell when out of the lift at 6th floor. Luckily room didn’t has that smell. Room pretty small.

DO NOT BOOK THIS HOTEL. The rooms shown are not what is given, we got to our first room and it was not as shown in the ad, there were flies everywhere and asked to be moved. The next room was one floor up, the room still had somebody else’s stuff in it, stains on the bedding and rust throughout the bathroom, not to mention stunk on mold. We left after paying $700 for a night and went to find a new hotel with zero remediation or help from the manager who was not on site. DO NOT STAY HERE DO YOURSELF A FAVOR GO ELSEWHERE.

Rooms were a little dated but very clean and beds super comfortable.|Breakfast is held at on roof restaurant - views just ok over city - and breakfast was fine ! Not spectacular .|I must say all the staff were very nice and super helpful .|It’s a great location to train station(8 mins walk ) and tram to airport (3 mins) |I paid a little more for the hotel due to rooftop bar / pool / sauna and to be honest it was not worth it as it’s just too busy when staying for 3 days so much to do and explore in surrounding area . Maybe if there a little longer .|The hotel was very busy .

I recently spent a weekend in Nice and ended up spending most of it inside the wonderful Splendid Hotel & Spa Nice. Although it’s known for its spa, I actually didn’t make it there this time, which is unusual for me. Instead, I fully indulged in the food, drinks, and the incredible rooftop. The rooftop jacuzzi is an absolute highlight. Even when it was raining, the water was so warm that it was still completely enjoyable. There’s something very special about sitting in a hot jacuzzi while the rain falls around you and the city stretches out below. The rooftop bar is another standout. There always seemed to be staff available, and they made excellent drinks. We treated ourselves to some high end tequila, and of course a classic rum and coke. And somehow, rum and coke always tastes better when the coke arrives in a proper glass bottle. Let’s just say we racked up quite the bill there, but it was worth every sip. Breakfast was also a highlight of the stay. It’s included with many bookings, and we made sure to take full advantage of it every morning. The croissants with Nutella were absolutely perfect, the fresh orange juice tasted like sunshine in a glass, and the fruit selection was beautifully presented. Even the bacon was done exactly right, crisp and flavourful. Sitting on the rooftop with that gorgeous view while enjoying breakfast made the whole experience feel extra special. The rooms themselves are on the smaller side and fairly simple, but for me that hardly mattered. The real magic of this hotel is in the rooftop experience, the food, the drinks, and the atmosphere. The staff were also incredibly sweet and kind throughout the stay. We especially appreciated the early check in and late check out, which made the weekend feel relaxed from start to finish. Overall, I would absolutely return. For the rooftop jacuzzi, the bar, the delicious breakfasts, and the lovely service, this place gets five stars from me. ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ See more restaurant reviews on Insta @Encyclope

We arrived at 11am on 13th March 2026. After an early flight from Edinburgh we were delighted to hear our room was ready. We had a room on 1st floor, 1st impressions corridor and room very dated and tired. However room was clean and beds were comfortable. Decent sized bathroom. Lovely fluffy towels. Free mini bar nice touch. We didn’t plan on spending much time in the room but if we were to return we would ask for a different room. It was just a bit rough and ready||Reception staff very friendly. Bar/restaurant staff were so friendly. Matteo referred to us as his Scottish friends which was lovely. We had drinks on the rooftop terrace in the afternoon. ||Nothing was too much trouble for Matteo and the other young lad who was on shift with him. Unfortunately I didn’t get his name but he was equally friendly and helpful. These 2 young lads are a credit to the hotel. We had great banter with them about the upcoming rugby games. And even bumped into the other lad in town and he stopped to say hello. Keep up the good work lads and you will both go far. Thank you for a lovely stay.||Great location only 20 mins from the airport direct by tram. Less than 5 min walk from station to the hotel. Less than 5 minute walk to promenade. Great restaurants and bars in the local area.

The location is good and the facilities are nice plus the breakfast was amazing. Unfortunatly they never read their messages on booking com properly and if you travel by car is going to be a mess to park there. 40 euro a day amd the hotel parking is small and although they said they booked for me they did not. Also they did not give a proper invoice. So location and hotel are ok but not for parking cars
