SCCV SUZANNE

While we are not sure 100% that we will end up buying property within the 150 km or so radius around Sourdeval that Suzanne in France covers, enough can not be said about how wonderfully informative and helpful her staff were in showing us the area and (even moreso) explaining how certain things *work* in French homes. What is a Linky? Why do the windows work like this? Where is the water shutoff? What are the leading indicators (the "Waffle House in a storm" analogs, as it were) of village life in France? We are currently looking a bit closer at certain spots in Brittany, but should that not work out, we now definitely have a better idea of the size and type of village we are looking for in the area that Suzanne and crew cover. Manon, Natasha, Lisa and Pam were all really helpful and patient and truthfully we're a little disappointed that this was not to be, but we would recommend them wholeheartedly, especially if buying a house half a world away intrigues and (rightfully) freaks you out a little (or a lot).

Booked a few days visit to France to view houses with this company with huge interest in the area they covered. Very disappointing viewings, was met by a representative and was told that I was in the wrong place despite having message to say where I should be, the rep came across as not very interested in being there, failed to bring the keys to the second house we wanted to view so ended up on a huge detour back to the shop to get them, 3rd property had some land on the listing but when I asked for more information they didn’t know where it was or how it was accessed, was told they would be in touch with this info in the following days and still nothing. I will not be looking at buying a house through this company and would recommend others proceed with caution.

We would buy a house in normandy so during we last holiday we asked for a visit by e-mail: one of Suzanne's collaborators arrived on time for the appointment, was available and patient for as long as necessary and made every effort to understand our terrible English. The responses to my emails full of questions were very quick and complete. So far everything is excellent and very professional.

From the minute we entered the office the staff were very friendly and spoke in English to us. We felt their warmth. Manon took us to see a property and felt she was very honest in her advice a charming young lady. I am happy to use this agency again, totally professional throughout. I have no hesitation in using them again.

Messaged that we were interested in properties in Normandy, with a fairly healthy budget and would be interested to view some properties, only to be told that during our week over there the office is closed and there are no properties available for us! No suggestions, no request for details, no saying ‘they’ll keep in touch’ - absolutely nothing! Contacted JB French properties and they couldn’t have been more helpful, suggesting houses for us and that they will be in touch with us prior to our trip with some suggestions and look forward to seeing us. so our hard earned cash will be going to them.
