VILLA MARGOT

We have spent 4 nights in this very charming villa. If you are a lover of old buildings then this is something for you. The owner Daniele made us feel very welcom and she is a very nice, friendly and helpful person, with good etiquettes and excellent hosting skills. We stayed in appartment on the ground floor which was a bit stuffy and humid. The garden is lovely and relaxing sitting area offers fabulous views over the sea. The kitchen is well equipped and whole appartment is very specious, but crowded with too many items, even most of them are nice and antique. ||It was nice to stay in such a well-preserved old villa.

Loved our getaway, wonderful accommodation and extremely friendly and hospitable - if you are looking for a quiet, safe getaway I recommend.. Stay safe take care all

We stayed four adults and two children in the top floor three bedroom apartment of this typical normandy house. The garden was beautiful, but I can't say the same for the interior of the house. It was overstuffed and cluttered with old detritus in what must have been intended to be shabby chic, but it just felt cluttered and chaotic. The apartment smelled HORRENDOUS. It made me a little nauseous, frankly. A combination of old, musty furniture, cat pee, furniture wax and who knows what else. It was gross. The bedding - although I am sure it was washed - did not feel washed. It felt and smelled old and sticky and musty. The kitchen was a horror of broken, cruddy dishes and utensils (the wine bottle opener was completely broken! for a vacation rental that seems pretty verboten). I had to wash all the glasses and plates before we used them the first time, since they were in an armoire which stank and which did not have a top, so they were all covered in dust.||The proprietress was friendly, but I will certainly never stay here again.

stayed in the 2nd floor 3 bed apartment of this beautiful classic Normandy villa, spacious and with terrific views over the valley and opal sea. The artist owners are proud of their association with Marcel Duchamp and really charming and helpful. Everything in the house felt to be acquired with thought and care including the antique bed frames and sumptuous bed linen. I'd be pleased to return.

Accueil parfait, logement au calme dans maisonnette indépendante. Quel bonheur d avoir passé une agréable nuit silencieuse. Petit déjeuner copieux et varié. Nous y étions à l automne mais l été avec le jardin cela doit être merveilleux. Je recommande !

Cadre bucolique, maison pleine de charme et idéale pour des vacances en famille. Les enfants ont adoré le jardin et la vue sur la mer. En 10 min à pieds vous serez à la plage et Danielle notre hôtesse était aux petits soins et de bons conseils pour les activités locales ou environnantes. Nous reviendrons!
