in ljublijana ibis, I complainned a nepal room cleaner throws used linen to me and sales manager said he permitted it as it is faster. I also complained in early morning eg.7a.m. it is a rule or habit that cleaners will open and close and open and close doors to wake up guests to move out so they can clean rooms. I complained security or reception staff knock my door 1a.m. and threaten to kick me out as they think I knocked door of screaming and laughing guests in 238. he pressed his finger to my chest stared and warned me in nose to nose pattern.after I complained , he entered in my next room 239 in 1am and laughed loudly. this manager told me if you want to escalate, we will escalate. the room cleaner entered my room and leave some hairs or used tissues without my presence and permission. they never reply complained email
Good breakfast, comfortable bed, and helpful staff. The hotel is close to the train station, which is good, but I had a certain unsafe feeling while walking on the street at night. Since I booked my stay on all.com, it seems like it was not in sync with the hotel's system, so upon arrival, I had a problem with my reservation. It took some time for the receptionist to sort the issue out, but while it didn't happen I got extremely concerned that things could go wrong, and me and my family wouldn't have a place to stay for the next 7 days.
We had a booking in this hotel. I checked in online via Accor application. I wrote an email to the hotel informing that we will arrive late. When we came to the hotel around midnight, we were told that our reservation was cancelled by the hotel manager. Instead of staying in Paris overnight and having rest, I had to drive home at night for 4 hours, with my family in the car. Although 9 months passed since than, Accor still hasn’t responded anything sufficient to my complaints.
As we got out of the car in the car park here, we were greeted by a beggar asking for money. The car park was full of children playing, vans and all around “strange” things which put us on edge. This wasn’t a good first impression! We were desperately watching the car on the CCTV at check in. ||The receptionists we encountered were lovely and spoke good English. ||The room however was clean and a family room provided a good amount of space. The hotel doesn’t have fans or air conditioning. We were fortunate enough to have good weather in Paris but it made the room like sleeping in an oven! ||To be honest for a budget chain, the hotel was “OK” for an overnight stop off but the area was absolutely horrific. To be truthful, I have never been so frightened. We walked through an area to get to the metro station and it was absolutely terrifying. We were told to wait for a bus and I was so scared we drove in to central Paris and visited the Eiffel Tower which was about 45 mins in the car. ||My husband left his watch behind and did get it back when he returned to collect it which was great and the staff couldn’t be more helpful. I don’t think there is much IBIS could do with the hotel in itself but I would avoid the area at all costs in future.
The hotel seemed outdated and mediocre. The elevator squeaks very loudly. Our room had burn marks in the floor when it’s supposed to be a non smoking room. The room also had a lingering faint smell of cigarettes. I checked the sheets for bugs as I always do when staying over at a hotel, no bed bugs but boy did i find the roaches!!! Not to mention I’m allergic to roaches. And multiple different strands of hair. Like seriously!!! So unsanitary. Unbelievable
Stayed here twice now good for a one night stay.. 2 minute walk to the train the TV did not work both times and some of the lights did not work. Neighborhood is rough but i did not feel unsafe. Many of the residents are African and Arabic immigrants. Keep in mind this hotel is a 30-40 minute train ride from downtown Paris. This is not a touristic area. English is non existent. Would be willing to stay again for a short time
The room was ok, comfortable beds, and well dusted, clean bathroom, but the floor was so dirty, that my white socks became black after walking some minutes around in the room. I guess they havent washed the floors for months. The breakfast «buffet» was the smallest i have ever seen: 2 types of bread, croissant, 2 types of jam, nutella, honey, youghurt, cheese, ham and butter, 2 kind of juices. The coffee was delicious from the machine. There is no cantine or any other things at the hotel. They have a machine for snacks and drinks, but they only take coins, no card or cash, so we couldnt buy coffe after the breakfast. The area is quiet sketchy and dirty with drugaddicts, drunk people, prostitutes and unsivilized people (not to offend any particular people). Other than that all the staffs were kind. I have no complaints about them, but some didnt speak english. We spoke using google translater. I cN give the hotel a 2 star.
The room had no AC, so it was like an oven. But worst of all it had a weird smell, there were bugs in the sheets so the whole family was itching all night and got very little sleep. There was a lot of noise from the hallway all night with Doors opening and closing. We had the pleasure of finding two large cockroaches in the room. The area felt very unsafe with lots of litter, broken cars filled with garbage and it was with fear we left our car in the Parking lot. We left a day early because of all these issues, eventhough we had all ready paid for two nights. We didn’t fell safe and had a lot of bug bites. We will never stay at this place again, and will not recommend it to anyone. I chose the hotel because of the Ibis-name, which ises to mens quality to me. But not anymore.
