We had a wonderful stay at Hotel La Maison and the welcoming staff made it memorable for us. The rooms with the terrace is highly recommended to get the real feel of the local atmosphere.||||Candie shared some excellent restaurant tips and Ivanea was exceptional with her hospitality and assistance. ||||The location is perfect - on a quiet, charming street and a stone’s throw away from restaurants, bakeries, salons, everything the downtown core has to offer. Loved our stay and would highly recommend.

Excellent hotel. Our room was clean and comfortable and decorated beautifully. | |On our first day my husband had an accident, he fell and broke his shoulder. The receptionist Lorrane was amazing. She arranged a taxi for us to a nearby hospital, she called the hospital and wrote a note for us to explain what had happened and also alerted the night receptionist Reny to expect us back late. He offered to help us when we returned very late that night. |The next morning the receptionist Issobelle was so efficient. She helped us to cancel our prearranged tours of Bordeaux. She helped us check out, collected our bags and called a taxi to bring us to the airport. |We met the manager before we left, she was so helpful. |The hotel managent should be very proud of their staff. |We'll be back again

A bit old. Nice place.

This pretty hotel is in a quiet area of Bordeaux in a side street but still within walking distance of the city centre. It suited our family party of 6 adults perfectly. If you want lounges, bars and restaurants within your hotel it may not be for you but there are seating areas in the courtyard and the breakfast room where you can gather to relax with your own wine. The staff will provide the glasses! There is also a small drinks list and cold collation which was excellent.||The staff are very friendly and helpful and the rooms super clean and comfortable.||This hotel is definitely worth consideration if you want to have a peaceful oasis to go back to after a day’s sightseeing or wine tasting in vibrant Bordeaux.

Very please with our 7-nights at the hotel. The staff were pleasant and helpful at all times. Breakfast was well prepared and very nice selection.

This hotel could be excellent, but there were too many issues.||||The negatives first...||- Shower door didn't close properly and had a gap at the bottom, meaning the bathroom floor was flooded and the shower mat was always sodden.||- What appeared to be excrement on the toilet wall.||- One of the towels had a nasty stain on it.||- One of the cups had something crusty on it. It was replaced on the second day, but this still had something encrusted on it.||- Safe deposit box didn't work. Apparently this was known and is on a list of maintenance work.||- One of the bedside lights didn't work.||- Breakfast was not a nice experience. We tried it once and were refunded. Apparently there is hot food, but there is no menu, you aren't told about it and have to ask.||||The good news...||- The staff were excellent and keen to help.||- The hotel was full on our first night, but we were offered an alternative room from the second night.||- Parking is close by and secure.||- The hotel location is very good for the city centre.||- The rooms were quiet and the bed comfy.||||||It felt like the hotel is being run an absolute shoestring, to the detriment of the customer experience.||Despite our experience, we would stay again because of the location, parking and the excellent staff.||

We had 3 wonderful evenings here at La Maison. The staff was so warm & welcoming here, and very helpful during our stay with great restaurant suggestions. Our room was comfortable, clean & efficiently laid out. Breakfast was outstanding w/ many delicious choices to start your day, coffee & croissants were just fantastic. The interior courtyard is a pleasant & relaxing place to sit w/ a glass of Bordeaux wine after sightseeing all day. We would return here as we felt this was a very nice spot & a good value during our travels. Merci, La Maison!

Absolument parfait! Isabelle explained everything clearly and patiently. Gave us a full « tourist » itinerary too. Room, breakfast and parking perfect! First time in Bordeaux : so much to see and experience. We will be back! A bientôt !
