A lovely and quiet nook in Paris! I went to a wonderful open-air film screening of modern and postmodern dance films in the courtyard of the institute (which is also very nice for having lunch from their German bistro). There are also a gallery space, a library and a cinema where they host a number of cultural events which are interesting both for German-speakers and for people less familiar with the German language and culture. Some of these events are for free, others are at a very reasonable price (only a couple of Euros with an additional student discount). It is a really special place in Paris, one of vibrant cultural exchange in a calm and friendly atmosphere. I’ll certainly come back soon.

Excellent cultural resource with a program of exhibitions and a library. The cafe has decent food and outdoor seating in the garden. A kind lady works at the cafe.

The german lessons are expensive but the cultural happenings are really interesting. Feel just like in Germany.

Very good experience, good place to take a German exam!

J’ai eu l’occasion de visiter le Goethe-Institut de Paris (16ᵉ) pour la première fois, et je tiens à souligner la chaleur de l’accueil. Un grand merci à toute l’équipe organisatrice pour sa disponibilité et sa bienveillance. Ce lieu est idéal pour apprendre l’allemand, se perfectionner ou passer un test de langue dans un cadre à la fois professionnel et agréable. C’est véritablement une grande fenêtre ouverte sur la culture allemande, accessible à toutes et tous, au cœur de Paris. Une belle découverte !
