Didn't inform us about the English speaking tours. We found out about these tours online. Directed us to the port and fobbed us off. Not helpful or insightful. Information centre only for the French.

Don't ask them how you can pay for the public bus. They don't know and they're openly disgusted that you asked. They're also so eager to be rid of maps of the area that when you ask for one they'll just toss it at you rather than handing it to you. Good to know the French are still living up to their reputation.

Nice tourism office with lots of information.

Asking for a bureau de change they had only one suggestion, thehotel Kalliste. When i went there i was told that they only change American dollars. They had no other suggestions, and made no further attempt to help. They did not know if the central post office was open or shut. Less use than an ashtray on a motorbike.

Very unfriendly, Four employees and not a Single one is Able to speak a word in english Edit: we were also Cruise passengers on that day. We spoke to a female employee who said in french that she can Not speak english. We asked for other employees but again she replied that Nobody speak english . We looked to the other employees and They like rejected us in body language. We visited the Office at roundabout 13:00h. At that time no other cruise passenger were in the office and all other guests/tourists spoke french. We cant imagine that suddenly all employees learned multiple languages or there were a shift change or something like that. Finally we cant Imagine that a lot of tourists received help on that day. Very dissapointing for a touristic Office in a town like ajaccio.

We ask "where is the closest public toilet"? Answer "there are no public toilets in Ajaccio. Have a nice day". How is that acceptable for a tourist destination?

The tourist office in Ajaccio is a good starting point if you want to visit the city they offer guided tours of the city every day and they can give advice on the best places to visit and book some concerts and musical events for you.

Very friendly and helpful. Spoke great English! Provided us with maps and recommendations for beaches, lakes, walks and supermarkets.
