Brigitte and Laurent were so kind and welcoming! The ambience is elegant and peaceful. We ate all our suppers there -they were magnificent! We were served local wines and Brigitte would chat with us and make us feel at home. Our rooms were quiet and comfortable!

I tried to book for 10 days this summer for a little solo writing retreat. I sent emails from different email addresses, I tried calling, and left a voice message. It's been 3 weeks since I started trying to contact them but there's no reply, and no one answers the phone at any time of day. Have decided to do my trip a different way now.

Lovely bed and breakfast. Room was very nicely decorated and cozy. We had wonderful stay here and enjoyed the lovely dinner the host cooked. Gardens at the home were superb! I highly recommend.

A wonderful stay in the Loire Valley. Brigitte and her family were very welcoming and accommodating. Clean and spacious accommodating our family of 2 adults and 2 teenagers - basically 2 attic rooms to ourselves plus the use of a beautiful lounge room and outdoor settings. Rooms were beautifully decorated in the theme of the house and its past inhabitants. Fantastic breakfasts - varied each day. Great location for exploring the beautiful Loire Valley but need own transportation. Nearby town of Langeais good for a few cafes, restaurants and has its own chateau.

My husband and I stayed here for two nights in July. The house and grounds are beautiful. We had a very spacious room upstairs. It was very clean and comfortable. Double sinks in the bathroom and a good shower. The only access to the room was a spiral staircase outside, which was no problem except for moving luggage in and out. Breakfast was wonderful...bread, pastries, jam, yogurt and freshly made crepes each morning. ||As we sat in the garden one afternoon, Ms. Hayee brought us some fruit, chocolate, and a refreshing drink...a very nice gesture. ||The property is very close to Tours with plenty of good restaurants and it's not too far from Fontevrault Abbey, which we visited one morning. We then enjoyed a beautiful drive back. ||We speak no French, but we were able to communicate with Ms. Hayee's daughter, who spoke limited English. ||We really enjoyed our stay in this beautiful, historic home and truly appreciated the kindness and hospitality shown to us.

This is a wonderful place from which to explore the architectural wealth of the Touraine, and to learn more of a French write of the early 19th century - Paul-Louis Courier - who grew up in this house.||We stayed in the Stendhal room, a lovely spacious room upstairs. All was good with a comfortable bed and a lovely bathroom. Downstairs was a beautifully decorated main room with interesting antiques and Courier's works ready to read. We arrived on a very hot day and greatly enjoyed an aperitif of Vouvray sparkling wine outside before moving in for supper in excellent company - returning guests. The meal was sumptuous, accompanied by Chinon wine, and unbelievable good value. |After a good nights sleep, we found breakfast had been prepared outside, a real treat.|This is really the Touraine at its best - good food, good wine, a warm welcome and a heavenly environment with so much to see. Don't miss the 'Pile' ( a Roman funeral monument and boundary marker) in the village, as for the rest, the choice of castles and other sites is endless.||Looking forward to returning soon!

A surprising troglodyte structure in the back of a 19th century home. The rooms were spacious, very clean and bright on the main floor. The male owner welcomed us and provided us with basic information on the surroundings. We had requested breakfast in the garden and were delighted by the copious breakfast, which included fruit (including figs from the tree above our head), juices, yogurts, croissants etc. We were disappointed the lady of the house never appeared, only her husband who was quite busy. The only disappointment was the fact that we were informed that Wi-Fi was available when in fact it was nonexistent. A wonderful experience nonetheless.

We stayed 5 days at this B&B after Xmas. A family of 11 with 4 kids under 12.||The hostes were really nice and discreet. We had 5 rooms, 3 in the main house, 1 was outside at the end of the courtyard but comfy and 2 lovely family rooms on the 1st floor but accessible with only by outdoor stairs.||Location is ideal to visit the chateaux.||We booked the Table d'hote they offer for 3 evenings and had lovely meals. Very traditional, starters, main course, cheese and desserts (simple and light ones), wine and bread.
