One of the best ceramic studios in Vallauris, with an extensive selection of vintage and modern works. After we bought eight bowls, the charming owner said we could visit their workshop a few blocks away, where we found her husband hard at work, a veritable magician with clay. I suspect some stores take shortcuts but at Lou Pignatier everything is made by hand and the quality definitely shows.

Beautiful hand made pottery. Simple and elegant, and sold by the potters themselves. I filled my baggage allowance with their wares, and will be back for more on my next trip.

as far as we are concerned this is the BEST manufacturer (the only one left?) and best shop for ceramics in Vallauris. We love the strong colours and the creativity.
