I would have loved to see this tower in full glory but most of it is presently coverer by scaffolding as it is undergoing a necessary renovation.

You can't go inside, but it's nice to look at. Needs a bit of restoration work though.

This tower has been in Grenoble since 4th May 1925. So it will be 100 years old very soon. I believe the town hall has promised to renovate the building as the cement it is built from has been cracking and falling apart over the years. It was the first steel reinforced concrete tower in the world apparently.

Can't wait for the major renovations to be completed so we can again see the view from the top... for the first time since 1960!!

Can't visit it since its under maintenance :(

Beautiful building, you can see it from miles away as you come to the outskirts of Amiens, i love how it changes color at night.

A cement monstrosity. Ugly. Yet easy to see from all sides. The glory of a regime that doesn't have much to offer the people.
