Wonderful museum with some beautiful art, history and culture from across the world. I really enjoyed going through it and seeing all the various artefacts. I particularly loved the African section with the textiles and fashion from Africa. The masks were also lovely. Highly recommended for anyone who is visiting Paris. It's near the Eiffel Tower so you can do both on the same day.

Beautiful museum, inside our, the experience started from the outside, with the small forest, surrounding the museum And then inside is another story, the exhibition is one the second floor, reaches from a ramp conceived in a beautiful architectural shape, Than the magic start There always activities from Schools and children groups. I recommend

We have been to the Museum in december 25 and i'm not sure whether I liked it :-) The museum is grouped by continents and shows some exhibits from every country. As consequence, you see a large variety but only very few exhibits from one country. I would have preferred more exhibits per country, but this would require a museum 10 times as big :-) The presentation is quite impressive, yes it is dimly lit but this makes the exhibits stand out. What I found really missing, are explanations in not-french ;-) Translating descriptions fully into English would surely help international visitors. Also the audio guide is rather thin in other languages than french...

This is not your average museum. Which makes it so special! Many less tourists than other museums in Paris and the collection is really amazing, a must visit when you want to see something different.

They have Great collections of the ancient culturas of the world. I loved the Oceanía area. I would have loved to have more information about the only Moai statue form Easter Island found at the entrance hall (well, it it just the head of the Moai) like when and who brought it from Rapa Nui, where was it located on the island and everything about him. Except for the Almost unexisting information of the Moai, all the rest was faboulous!!

The Musée du Quai Branly, a stone's throw from the Eiffel Tower, is situated in a small park and has a café and restaurant on the grounds. The museum offers a wonderful overview of ancient cultural artifacts from all continents and also frequently hosts exhibitions on specific themes. The entire complex is housed in a beautiful building, and the lighting is optimal for a special experience.

Lots of interesting exhibits, but it is very dark and I found it oppressive and couldn't wait to get outside and see some daylight. The guide book is in several languages, but omits a map of the museum so as a guide was not of practical use. There is a free cloakroom. The staff seemed tired and uninterested.

Lesser known but a stunning, contemporary museum located steps from the Eiffel Tower, dedicated to the indigenous art and cultures of Africa, Asia, Oceania, and the Americas.🌍 Good to combine with Eiffel tower 🗼 visit
