This place is a scam. The other reviews are written by robots. The dishes cost €9 each for 4 selection of a mezze , or you can pay €28 for 6 mezze which the chef is choses. So naturally, you assume you’re getting 6 plates of 4 mezze, however you only get one thing of each!! My wife got the vegetarian mezze selection and we were shocked to see that we had to pay €28 for four ‘mezze’ (tiny morsels of food) and two bowls of houmous. The menu is completely deceitful. Instead of paying €9 for 4 of the same thing, you pay €28 for 4 different types of food… that is unacceptable. Furthermore, we saw them getting food out of packages so none of it is fresh either. Don’t even bother with the cocktails, they were equally bad with little to no alcohol. I would recommend to walk 5 minutes over to the port and you will find lots of wonderful restaurants with good prices. I have given two stars instead of one because the waiter was accommodating. However, don’t make the same mistake as us!!! Edit in response: you charge higher prices than in Switzerland. If what you say is true, why do you need a robot to write fake reviews 😂😂😂

As German tourists, we were really impressed with the freshness of the dishes. The kebbé and moutabal were excellent. Highly recommended.

Traveling from Milan, we had dinner here and really enjoyed it. The hummus and falafel were excellent, and the grilled lamb was so tender. The staff was very friendly, making the evening unforgettable. Highly recommended!

As German tourists, we love discovering new cuisines, and Helem was perfect. The mezze platter was fresh and flavorful, and the desserts delicious. The staff made us feel welcome and comfortable. We would definitely come back.

Visiting from Brussels, we loved the warm welcome at Helem. The mezze selection was perfect for sharing, and the grilled chicken was outstanding. Excellent service and cozy atmosphere made it unforgettable.

What a disappointment! I went because of the pictures showcasing the mezze and beautiful dishes and high reviews, but was deceived. First off the server didn't speak proper French, he couldn't understand us. He brought the owner?manager? Who we asked for clarification for the dishes, apparently for the mezze the chef chooses for you so good luck with that. We asked for a drink and it was a watered down sugary mess. We asked for ketchup and were told that it is eaten with garlic paste we still wanted ketchup and two packets were brought to us. They don't know the concept of customer service and unfortunately their dishes aren't good enough to warrant the terrible service. The food was tiny for the high price, dry and cooked in cheap oil. Avoid this tourist trap, it was empty during dinner time for a reason and I should have heeded the warning.
