Avis
The Chinagora Hotel is a bit far from the metro, but the value for money is very good. The bedding and cleanliness are excellent.
The room is a very typical Chinese style room, normal check-in services. Just keep in mind there are only two 500mL water for a room per day and there are no water fountains. So the hotel sell 500ml water for €1.5. It is quite far from the city so if you are planning to go to city centre everyday, avoid this. The breakfast does not worth it with only limited selections.
Very nice hotel close to Paris, on the board of Seine. Excellent service, very clean, and it really makes you feel like travelling far away, while you're still in.Europe/France. Very calm area, perhaps a bit remote, but nice restaurants at about 10 min. walking distance.
It was a nice and comfy stay. Great staff and nice people overall
Good for chinese travelers or anyone who like chinese environment. Feels like hotels in china, almost everyone speaks chinese, look and feel of hotel room and environment feels like those in china. Breakfast is a little bit expensive here, but there’s a lot of restaurants around so it’s ok. Things are a bit old in the hotel, but it’s still acceptable.
The hotel had brilliant service, super clean, a lot of space, comfortable, fair price and quite a good breakfast. I had slippers and new bottles of water every day. It is quite and cozy. I received iron easily and quickly without extra fee. I would definitely come back. Thank you for your great service!
This was by far the dirtiest hotel we stayed at. As soon as we walked into the room it stunk of mildew coming from the shower curtain which had fungus all on the bottom half. The shower itself had fungus growing in the corners and shower head. I found hair all over the “freshly” made bed. The ac didn't work and they never came to fix it. We asked for more water bottles and they said only the first day was free everything else after that we have to pay for. We never felt truly comfortable. The only good thing about the hotel was our view from the room. If you’re a person who likes clean spaces, don’t stay here.
This is a (Chinese) Hunan government hotel situated in Alfortville which is so far east of Paris centre that it doesn't even sit within the Arrondissment system. If guest are familiar with travel in China then the style is instantly recognisable as a 1 star government hotel with little by way of amenities or frills. It is approx 1.2km from the nearest metro station (The Vet College) and thence about a 1hr ride into town, depending on where you are going. Alfortville itself is a sleepy little town. There is an Auchan supermarket, some fast food outlets and a couple of restaurants (Indian and Sushi places). Of course the Chinagora also has a large chinese restaurant. We didn't eat in any of those places but the hotel breakfast buffet may be a useful guide - Minimum Viable Product! Having said all of that, its not cheap and is price comparable to most of the mid-brand western hotels around, say, Gare du Nord. If you are visiting Paris for business or pleasure you will saving time and euros in a more central location.
