I have contracted BAROart to design and oversee the renovation of my apartment in les musiciens in Nice France. I strongly do not recommend working with them due to a number of reasons related to lack of professionalism, poor attention to detail, negligence, sketchy behavior -Design: - Their architect was only able to produce was a poor 2D autocad design with insufficient view of how things will look like. - ⁠When asked to do a proper render, their architect generated a terrible quality, unappealing, and useless render that neither showed material, nor colors, nor fixtures, (these can be seen on BAROart’s instagram page). - This so called design ultimately resulted in a number of flaws. Such as electric plugs placed behind radiators, oddly placed bathroom fixtures, wrong recommendations for bathroom door dimensions, improper light command, and endless other issues; which had to be solved onsite through various workarounds, change requests, and over-costs. Oversight: - No real commitment to oversight. I have never seen their architect bring a pen & notebook to capture notes & comments onsite. Instead, he would typically come holding his lapdog, visit for 10 minutes, and rush to leave. This is when he was busy traveling outside the city during critical phases of the project. - ⁠An endless number of issues were not detected by their architect, instead, they were detected directly by me as a customer. - ⁠Instead of representing my interests, their architect would always take sides with the contractor. Frequent unwarranted change requests (worth ~25% of the project value) were forwarded to me directly by their architect without any reviews. Conerning Actions, Communication & general attitude by their architect: - Negative, not solution oriented, resistant to finding proper solutions to problems which were often caused by his negligence. - ⁠Big ego , poor communicator - Not proactive⁠, needs to be constantly guided by the client - ⁠Another very concerning thing is that
