We are just back from spending a short week at Alain and Francoise’s place. Tacked away, hidden in the shadows of the garden trees, this charming old house caters for all the rest and serenity one may want.|Alain and Francoise made us feel very much at home, like we were not in a B&B but rather on a family visit!|Spacious rooms were fully equipped and comfortable with good beds and pillows (very important!). And the airco!!|The breakfast was just amazing (and we are a spoilt bunch ☺️) : good variety of artisanal bread and pastry, large selection of cheese and home-made jam, freshly pressed orange juice and etc..|The location is perfect for a day visit to a beach but also for some cultural or historic sightseeing. |One word is - PERFECT! And if we could have rate it with 20, we would have!

What can I say, Francoise and Alain were magnificent hosts. The building dates back to the 14th century, all rooms are tastefully decorated in a period French style, Francoise collects antiques and Alain is an artist in his spare time, rooms have pieces of both their collection's.|Our room was right at the top of the house, with a climb up a stone spiral staircase - not for the less mobile, but gave extra charm and character to the building.|Our hosts couldn't do enough for us and the other guests, offering drinks and snacks to eat together, this was 'going the extra mile' in my eyes as this came at no cost, and you're made to feel like friends not paying guests, our host's would be happy to join us, even inviting their friends, making one big happy family.|We stayed on a b&b basis, enjoying a wonderful continental breakfast of fresh breads, croissant and petite pins, Alain even made his own jams of varying flavours, some a little strange but all tasty.|We used the b&b as a base and Alain was helpful in giving direction to various places to visit.|Francoise's English was equal to my French but Alain saved the day as his English is fine.|We definitely plan to return sometime. 5 stars all the way.|Merci, merci, merci 😎😎

Très belle maison, très belle chambre. Hôtes très gentils donnant de bons conseils sur les sites d'intérêt dans la région. Petit déjeuner avec produits de qualité. Des vacances réussies.

Nous avons grandement apprécié notre séjour. |Les hôtes ont tout mis en œuvre pour que nous nous sentions bien, |La chambre Muscat est spacieuse, literie confortable , climatisation bienvenue |Prendre le petit-déjeuner dans la cour magnifiquement végétalisée fut une parenthèse enchantée : des produits locaux , de qualité , le jus d’oranges pressées , le pain frais , les viennoiseries, confitures maison recherchées au niveau des saveurs .|Les suggestions de visite, restaurants ont permis de découvrir de belles pépites |Merci beaucoup et au plaisir !

Parfait ! Petit séjour super agréable ! Chambre lavande nickel ! Petit déjeuner en terrasse ! Nous avons, en autre, pu apprécier les confitures maison d'Alain et plus particulièrement "ananas kiwis"... une tuerie... N'oublions pas non plus la reine des lieux...

Situé dans le village de Bessan, vous apprécierez ce Bed & Breakfast pour son calme et cette impression d'être en vacances. Les petits déjeuners sont délicieux avec des produits frais. Le couple qui possède cet hôtel particulier du XV-XVIe siècle est très accueillant et donne de bons conseils sur les choses à faire.

Wow was für ein Haus. Ich war wirklich total begeistert von diesem Hotel. Das ursprüngliche Gebäude ist aus dem 12 Jahrhundert. Bariierefreiheit kann hier natürlich nicht erwartet werden. Die Renovierung hat den ursprünglichen Charme des Hauses komplett erhalten. Die Zimmer sind super sauber das Bett sehr bequem. Das französische Frühstück lässt keine Wünsche offen. Verschiedene Käse selbst gemachte Marmelade. leckere süsse Stückle frisch gepresster O-Saft frisches Obst usw Das Ehepaar dem dieses Schmuckstück gehört ist sehr herzlich und gibt gute Tipps für Unternehmungen. Wir wollen unbedingt wiederkommen.

Was even lastig vinden want de naam is niet leesbaar meer op het blauwe hek. Alain verwelkomde ons hartelijk en hielp mee met de bagage. Wat een prachtige tuin en een mooi herenhuis! Via een stenen trap uit de 12e eeuw naar de 2e verdieping. Grote ruime kamer, geheel in stijl. Mooi beddengoed en mooi ingericht. Nieuwe badkamer. Airco was fijn want deiddagzon maakte de kamer warm. Ontbijt was perfect! Elke dag een andere huisgemaakte jam. Vers fruit en veel keuze aan mooie kazen. Verse jus d'orange en een mooi gedekte tafel. Ei naar wens klaargemaakt en gezellige gesprekken met Francoise en andere gasten. We konden gelukkig nog een macht extra boeken. Wat een aangenaam verblijf! Parkeerplaats vlakbij en veel leuke tips voor activiteiten in de regio waardoor we leuke dagen hebben gehad. Bijzonder fijne plek en super B&B! Bessan is klein en vriendelijk plaatsje.
