We had a great time at the Royal riviera. We traveled with our 18 month old son, and the hotel was very accommodating with a crib in the room, high chair at meals, floaties at the pool, etc. we stayed in the Orangerie building and the room was spacious and new. We booked through Amex FHR program, and received a room upgrade, which was much appreciated. Highlights for us included the wonderful breakfast on the terrace overlooking the ocean every morning, the beautiful pool (heated to a very comfortable temperature) with attentive staff, and the concierge and front desk staff, who were extremely helpful. On one evening, we missed the last train back from Nice and didn’t want to take a taxi with our son without a car seat. The concierge arranged for a taxi to come to the hotel, pick up our car seat, and come get us in Nice. As far as location, the hotel is right on the sea, a few towns over from Nice with easy transit or car options to all of the riviera. The peninsula itself has a lovely walking path that you can take into town. Overall a great stay, we would definitely return!

Truly a great property with an excellent staff. The little details stood out, like USB-C charging ports built directly into the walls so you don’t need a converter. The sauna and steam room were available even without booking a spa service, and both were excellent. The views were beautiful, the pool was great, and the town itself had a genuine local feel rather than feeling overly touristy. My only qualm was that the food was a bit expensive, but that’s pretty much to be expected in the South of France. Overall, the property was well maintained, thoughtfully designed, and a great place to stay.

This hotel is not special. They have small rooms that they don’t recommend yet they sell them. I don’t understand this but it was fine for us. Actually the small room is technically bigger than many rooms in NYC hotels we stayed in, so they originally scared us that there was zero space. We could have even put a crib in the room but they don’t allow it. Anyway. The breakfast is nothing special, a bit mediocre, but the Jasmine restaurant was fantastic. We stayed here for my wife’s birthday, and I paid extra to setup balloons, roses, and a cake. They asked to frame our picture in the room before arrival but the picture wasn’t there. Apparently the printer was broken but when I asked where the picture is, it was magically fixed and they got me the picture right away. So I assume they just forgot. The cake I ordered for my wife surprise was very delicious, however, we couldn’t finish it because when we left our room, room service came and threw the cake away. When I told the front desk, they went to investigate first and acted like I was lying or something. They had to wait to see the cameras before apologizing or providing any refund. Anyway, an hour later they said yes, room service took it and it’s because they are new, so they didn’t understand. They refunded me only the desert we bought at the restaurant which is less than what I paid for the cake… seriously? What a shame. So your employee steals my paid for cake and then you only give me partial refund? Wow such a “great” service and experience. The least you could do is comp the whole lunch since your employees caused us trouble. Anyway, the service overall, from front desk, to spa manager, to every person have been not really good, especially for a 5 star. They don’t treat you nicely here. Anyway, this is my own experience, and I’m sure other people experience it differently. I think concierge (Loic) was the only helpful and nice person here. He helped with the surprise setup, the beautiful flower bouquet and

My stay at Hotel Royal Riviera was nothing short of exceptional—truly an experience that stays with you long after you leave. From the moment I arrived, the hospitality stood out. The team made me feel genuinely welcomed, not just as a guest, but as someone they truly cared about. Every interaction was warm, attentive, and effortlessly professional. The view? Absolutely breathtaking. Waking up to the serene beauty of the French Riviera, with the calm sea stretching endlessly, was a moment of pure peace. It’s the kind of view that makes you pause, reflect, and just take it all in. What impressed me the most was the attention to detail across everything—service, ambiance, comfort, and overall experience. The property itself is stunning, blending elegance with a relaxed, luxurious vibe. Every corner feels thoughtfully designed to create both comfort and beauty. The staff deserves special mention—their kindness, responsiveness, and genuine smiles made all the difference. It’s rare to find a place where everything feels so seamless and effortless. This wasn’t just a hotel stay—it was an experience of comfort, beauty, and exceptional service. Truly unforgettable, and I would love to return.

We had an incredible stay at Royal Riviera. All of the staff - from the front desk, concierge, breakfast host, to the bell men—were exceptionally welcoming and helpful. Our room was wonderful with beautiful views and a nice, updated bathroom. We enjoyed a delicious dinner at Jasmin as well. The location of the hotel is perfect for a walk in Cap Ferrat and as a base for exploring other areas. Highly recommend!

The heated pool, the location right by the beach, the beautiful rooms, the views over the Med and the cap - all of this is very much le top. But I’ve never quite had such an experience (in over ten years living in France) with the hotel staff. Welcoming, kind, warm, supremely competent and just all round excellent - there are quite a few fancy places in Paris that could take lessons from these guys. We hope to be back, un grand merci !

My friend and I stayed early May of this year and absolutely loved every minute of our stay. Everyone was so lovely, from the doormen and front desk staff, to the breakfast attendants and restaurant servers. Breakfast was delicious and had so many options. Seating on the patio overlooking the Mediterranean was the perfect way to start the day. ||The location couldn’t have been any better…the hotel was the perfect jump off point for a walk around St Jean Cap Ferrat, so close to the Rothchild estate (which we loved as well), a short stroll to Villefranche sur Mer, and a short Uber ride to Eze and other Rivera towns. ||Our room was large, beds were so comfortable, bathroom well appointed and the views were spectacular. 10/10. I can’t wait for my next visit and would not hesitate to book clients here as well.
