I stayed at this hotel for a week in February 2024. I liked it very much! Employees are super nice and were always happy to help. A room and bathroom were always cleaned at the right time, I must admit I didn’t expect this hotel to be so clean and comfy. The hotel is very close to the metro station and it is about 30 minutes ride from the Paris center. I paid just a little bit over 400€ for a week and I think that it is a fair price for a room in Paris where everything is very expensive. I will come back!!! Thank you! Merci 🩷
I would like to express my sincere gratitude to the staff at Le Kleber for their incredible helpfulness and professionality. Unfortunately, my flight to Paris (Transavia TO3801) was cancelled at the last minute due to fuel supply issues, making it impossible for me to reach the city. Even though the situation was outside of the hotel's control, the management was extremely understanding and granted me a full refund despite the short notice. In an industry where rigid policies often prevail, the kindness and empathy shown by this hotel were truly outstanding. Although I couldn't stay there this time, I will definitely book with them again for my next trip to Paris. Highly recommended for their top-tier customer service!
Look, at the end of the day do you need lots of cat-swinging room in your en-suite? Well if you prefer more wide open spaces, then go elsewhere, however, if you're looking for friendly, relaxed and helpful, a base for your sight-seeing trip perhaps? then this is it; vive la difference!||Le Kleber Hotel, with it the surrounding area of Montreuil, was described by my taxi driver as being very much a bohemian style location with many cultures washing over each other. At first I was slightly put off by the small bathroom space in our room, but in the end.... hey, it was serviceable and clean, hot water, fresh towels and a place to.....well you know the rest! The double bed comfortable enough with wall space for hanging clothes. Just a note that high sounds permeates the walls and floors quite easily so wouldn't recommend any serious gymnastics and pack your earplugs as there's always a snorer around. ||We pre-paid for buffet breakfast which turned out to be excellent; choices of cereals, fresh fruits, pastries and much more. All this goes on in a small area to the side of the main bar at ground level. The bar is very much the hub of the hotel and is a great meeting point just for coffee, bottle of wine or a wonderful glass of their draught beer, such a delicious flavour. You can't help but admire the friendly and relaxed atmosphere going on around the bar, the management are all involved hands-on and no ceremony if you can't speak French, everyone helps out.||Our sight-seeing trip was all about that, seeing the historic and wonderful views in the centre of Paris and taking the open-top bus tour to fill the day. Once out of the Hotel, a two minute walk away, you're in the Metro and with one station change and less than thirty minutes you can be viewing the Eiffel Tower. Also nearby the Hotel, within two to five minutes walking time you can find more than a dozen small restaurants, taxi rank, swimming pool, pharmacy, Metro station and a wonderful open market with some fa
I was very satisfied with the location of the hotel, the staff's attitude, the service, and the cleanliness of the hotel. If I come back to Paris, I will definitely stay here because I don't pay a lot of money for anything.
Rooms are always clean with daily change of towels available. However, the walls are thin and you can hear people in the other rooms/hallways. The croissants/pain-au-chocolat, French bread & butter for breakfast are good! Reception staff are okay, but with limited English and always seem annoyed whenever you try to ask them anything. There are no lifts so be prepared to carry your own luggage up to your room. The property is a bit far away from the city centre, however the nearest Metro station is only 2 minutes away. The neighbourhood is quiet. Over-all, good value for money.
The good - Location is great, 2 mins walk to Croix des Chavaux Métro with good and quick connections to central Paris and beyond - Free wifi The bad - The room is very basic and not well maintained with silverfish and other insects - Bathroom is very small and moldy. Was only provided 1 towel for a double room; housekeeping removed completely forgot to replace the towels on the second night. No hairdryer available - Walls and door are very thin and the lock on the door was broken - No lifts - Staff was quite rude and had a bad attitude
I`d like to say good value for money, but the place is missing a small bit.||Location is pretty good with the metro station just around the corrner. However, we missed some good caffeteria in the surroundings.||The room is small which is not of a big problem, but the size of the bathroom and specially the shower actually is. THe shower is too small to even turn around.||Friendly stuff, unfortunatelly not speaking english.||The place was really clean which is for sure its big advantage
Firstly be wary if you book via hotels.com the hotel does have a restaurant but it’s not open for dinner during the week, I got caught out by this which is annoying but probably not their fault!||Very pleasant staff and a decent clean room but unfortunately it looks like a refurb is not quite finished! Nice new tiling in bathroom but not grouted at the corners and the hallways a mess of masking tape and smeary paint, will probably look quite nice soon.||Location is ok as right near the metro and a few places to eat round about. The best thing here though is the staff are nice and it’s very clean. Get that bathroom and hallways finished and it would be a 4!
