A friend who is a chocolatier recommended this local place as they work directly with the source and roast the cocoa beans themselves. Very good, attentive service and knowledge, they also allow you to sample. Beautiful store and packaging as well to top it off!

Excellent craft chocolate maker where you can see the machines and people at work. A must-see visit for Bayonne. Transparent process even extents to the cacao beans where you will know the country and even the farm. For instance, his bar from Dominican Republic is from the first cocoa crop from the farm he works with in DR. You can get chocolate that is course using older methods and very smooth chocolate using best practices for bean to bar chocolate makers. Highly recommended.

Divine chocolate smell hits you as soon as you enter - you will want to spend some time in here. We were given a very informative demonstration and felt like we learned new things, plus we had a little taste. The chocolatier was polite and his passion really shone through.
