I take great pleasure in writing a tale of triumph, a journey through a meadow of consumerist bliss. I visited Jean Lain as a bewildered Brit, timid and uneducated through my lack of understanding for the native language and any idea of what kind of vehicle may be offered to me. Upon entering the building I was greeted by my new guide, a sharply dressed woman by the name of Jeanne. Jeanne was my Savoie Saviour, immediately easing my apprehensions, listening patiently to my requests in Broken Franglish. She immediately set to work sourcing a suitable work vehicle, a 2024 VW Crafter, perfect for me. But €10,000 euros over my budget. After thanking her for her time and returning home a little defeated I reflected and decided upon my next move. The very next morning I received an email from Jeanne saying she’d found a cheaper alternative located in Chambery, which she drove to herself to collect and deliver to me right in time for me to continue my busy working schedule. What an absolute angel! Jeanne wasn’t the only angel greasing the wheels at Jean Lain Annemasse. As my French needed much deciphering, Jeanne brought out an equally impressive sidekick, Laura. Laura was on hand to shine a light through my dimly lit corridors of understanding and guide me through to the land of enriched understanding, translating documents, answering silly British questions like ‘is there a tea making facility in the van’ and generally being an absolute boss. These two women were a dream team, I could not have asked for a better customer experience, I was listened to attentively and treated with utmost professionalism. If you are looking to embark upon a new vehicle adventure, I cannot recommend Jean Lain Annemasse any higher. I will bellow their praise from my VW Crafter until it’s time to buy a new one!
