This was our very first stop in Nice, and it definitely lived up to the hype! This famous boulangerie has been all over social media, and after visiting, we completely understand why. It’s a tiny but charming place packed with pastries, sandwiches, pissaladière, and other delicious baked goods. When we came for breakfast, the queue was almost nonstop, but the staff were still very friendly, helpful, and welcoming. We tried their pistachio croissant and, of course, the classic plain croissant. I had a matcha oat latte while my husband ordered a café latte, and everything was absolutely delicious. Honestly, they serve some of the best croissants I’ve ever had! 🥐 We loved it so much that we came back again to try the Biscoff croissant, and it did not disappoint. Definitely a must-try when visiting Nice 🇫🇷
Went back 3 times it was that good! All the staff are friendly and helpful. No matter what pastry you get, all are lovely. Their croissant are delicious with great lamination however my favourite was probably the pain suisse. I also tried their margarita pizza and the dough was so delicious and fluffy. Would definitely recommend.
I was really looking forward to trying their pistachio pain suisse and pain aux raisins, but unfortunately, I left disappointed. The pastries lacked the crisp, flaky texture I was expecting and didn't live up to the hype. I've definitely had much better pain suisse at the nearby La Base Bakery, where the quality and texture were far superior. In my opinion, you're better off skipping the line and the hype and heading somewhere that serves baked goods that are truly worth every bite.
Amazing bakery with so many options of croissants and pastries chocolate, Lotus, citrus, pistachio, berries and more. The cookies are delicious as well, and the coffee is really good too. There’s usually a long queue, but the staff work very fast, so it’s definitely worth the wait.
I stumbled across this place as we were staying nearby. Food is fantastic but typical French service but pleasant enough. Perfect croissants with interesting fillings, however I would go for the more unique items, I would have to say the Noeud Framboise was easily one of the best things I’ve ever eaten. 10/10 no notes. We queued for about 20 mins at 10am but only 10 mins at 8am at end of September. If you love a good baked good, def worth the trek.
The croissant is big but nothing particularly special to make it stand out from the Nice boulangerie scene which is pretty good in itself. The pan Bagna was good. It is a nice bakery to go if you are near. The waitress has been kind and friendly.
Everything is average. The waiting time in line is completely unjustified. With such high turnover, I expected warm pastries, but they were completely cold. The pistachio croissant is just sprinkled with pistachios, and inside it’s filled with some kind of custard that has no pistachio flavor at all.
Absolutely amazing. So many options, everything looked very fresh, and the croissant was delicious. The coffee was also excellent — I only wish they had non-dairy milk. The sandwiches looked great too, although we didn’t try them. From the long line outside, you could tell how popular this place is — clearly loved by everyone in Nice.
