Oh my. Where to start? The room I was in was exceptionally comfortable and warm, with plenty of space so that I was comfortable during my stay. The decor was beautiful and enhanced the feeling of peace and calm after the hours of exploring. The staff were very cheery, bright, friendly, and helpful. And I loved the location, which was just a few steps from the canals and the action of Little Venice. The breakfast was lovely, with cereals, breads, and amazing cheeses!

Charming hotel in the middle of the old town. The man on reception was friendly and was very helpful concerning the parking. Their car park opposite was a little bit of a nightmare, the spaces are big but very awkward. The room was spacious and quiet. The breakfast plentiful and you could relax in the lounge with a bottle of wine in the evening.

From the moment we arrived, the staff at Le Colombier set the tone for what would become an unforgettable stay. Every member of the team, greeted us with genuine warmth and an attentiveness that felt personal rather than rehearsed. Nothing was too much trouble. When we asked for help with restaurant reservations, they didn't simply hand us a printed list they offered thoughtful, specific alternatives when our original choices were not available. This is a staff that clearly takes pride in what they do, and it shows in every interaction. The location is simply perfect. Tucked into the heart of the old town, Le Colombier sits just steps from the Petite Venise quarter. We had at most a three-minute walk to some of the best of Colmar's restaurants, and yet the hotel itself feels quietly removed from the tourist bustle. It is the kind of location you spend weeks trying to find and rarely do. The hotel itself is a beautifully restored 15th-century building whose character has been preserved without sacrificing comfort. Our suite in the separate building was perfect – next time, with warmer weather, we look forward to enjoying its riverside terrace.

Perfect base camp for the Alsace region! Just a few steps from Le Petite Venise it was smaller and more quaint than Strasbourg but had a multitude of beautiful shops and restaurants to choose from and to explore. The historical villages along the Alsace Wine Route were all a very short drive away and we were able to spend time in all of them in one day. From before arrival to during the entire stay the ladies who took care of the hotel were Warm, friendly and professional wether at the front desk, taking care of the property or preparing a wonderful breakfast. Highly recommended for great service, great central location, great well kept property and great value.

My stay would have been a perfect 10 if I hadn’t been moved to a room in a separate building across from the main hotel. The difference in quality is noticeable, and these rooms SHOULD NOT be priced the same as those in the main building. What was most disappointing was the very poor level of resolution from both the staff and the manager. After already spending two nights in the same room, we were forced to pack everything and move to the other building. The manager did not even attempt to find a solution and simply stated that, since my request to stay in the main building was not sent by email and I did not have the name of the person I spoke to on the phone, nothing could be done. This is a very poor response for someone in such a senior position.

This is the best hotel in Colmar indeed. I have the time of my life in this amazing city. The way the staff treating us made us love this magical city more and more. The hotel is so clean and modern. So near to the markets. You will madly fell in love with every details. Definitely will stay in it again next Christmas. big thanks for the amazingly staff.

Super helpfull staff. You feel well, safe and very comfortable. Interesting building, culture heritage. Rooms are cost. Breakfast is a treasure. Rich variety, good quality of products.

We had the most wonderful stay, which all started with the communication between booking and arriving. When we arrived the welcome was lovely and the staff just surpassed every expectation (allowing us to try out our beginners French and gently assisting and encouraging us). The room was perfection - just beautiful. Breakfast exceeded all expectations. The courtyard was wonderful to sit in and have a nightcap at the end of a day of site-seeing and feasting!
