Montpellier, what a beautiful place, steeped in history. This aqueduct is one of many ancient constructions about the city, all in walking distance. Lots of 'payant' pay and display parking or park on the outskirts and walk in - so much to see.
If you love the old architecture then it’s for you…. There’s a pretty park and the arc de triumph and beautiful churches in the area as well…. Interesting, but not going out of my way to visit again!
This place is Wow!! It is so beautiful especially in the evening. We visited Montpellier in hot summer season. It was extremely pleasant to visit this park in the night. The cool breeze was constant. The lights made everything magical.
The Aqueduc Saint-Clément in Montpellier is an impressive historical structure that offers a glimpse into 18th-century engineering. Stretching gracefully across the city, it's a beautiful place for a scenic walk or photo stop. The nearby Promenade du Peyrou provides a great view of the aqueduct, especially at sunset. It's well-maintained, easily accessible, and adds a unique charm to the city's landscape. Definitely worth a visit for architecture and history lovers!
