Excellent on all counts. The owner/chef/server has adorable paintings from his nephew on the walls, a beautifully crafted menu, and a joy for service. I know there are many brilliant restaurants in Lyon, but this is one is truly a diamond among gems.

This is my absolute favorite restaurant in Lyon. The bread is made fresh and the owner makes everything from scratch himself. You can tell how much love goes into the food and the portions are very generous (it’s all you can eat). Words can’t describe how delicious all of it is and the old stone building has such an ancient cozy vibe. They have a cute cat too :) I’m glad places like this still exist in a world full of corporations and chain restaurants.

Wow! I ate here last Thursday. It was a great experience! I was there for lunch (a volonté). You start with the best lentil soup I ever had. With the warm bread it was a perfect combination. Then you continue with borek with cheese and also with meat another. And with pomme de terre. Together with a nice mediterrenean salade. And then you finesh with amazing künéfé dessert and bergamot tea, so lovely together. After that I got a cup of bio coffee. And there was ayran and still and sparkling water on the table. I left the restaurant with a full belly and a full heart. As the owner was super friendly, warm and welcoming. You really feel at home. I definitely come back when I'm back in Lyon. Delicious and freshly made food, also very generous portion. Service was excellent. The stone walls and wooden ceilings in the restaurant are really unique

The best turkish restaurant in Lyon. Try the lentil soup it was amazing and the kunefe is to die for. Delicious food in copious portions, cooked & served by the sweetest, Maître Sakir himself. I’ll certainly be coming back for more !

Perfect place to enjoy dinner with friends or family. The soup, pides, and desserts are absolutely delicious!

Loved it! It's located a street back from the busier pedestrian walkways and we just happened to walk by it and were intrigued. Had the prix fixe lunch menu and it was really delicious.

Very good food, in a pretty quiet, but central location. A true gem in Lyon!
