Eva’s Thread was an absolute blessing during the week of my wedding in Paris. After months of planning, my mother’s original dress from a UK-based custom clothier never arrived in time. We were beyond frustrated and, at the very last minute, ordered a beautiful Elie Saab dress from MyTheresa that we had been eyeing. It arrived the day before my parents left for Paris, but it needed significant alterations. I had found another highly reviewed alterations shop online and messaged them in advance, explaining the situation. They told us they could help, so when we arrived in Paris, we went straight there. Unfortunately, once we were in the shop, they essentially told us they did not have time to complete all of the alterations needed. In a panic, I started searching Google and found Eva’s Thread, which happened to be only about 15 minutes away. We went there immediately and, with the help of Google Translate, explained our dilemma to Eva and her husband. Eva listened so kindly and calmly, and with quiet assurance, told us she could help. Three days later, we returned, and the dress fit my mother perfectly — truly as if it had been custom made for her. Eva later told us the alterations were incredibly complicated, which made her work even more impressive. She turned everything around in just three days and completely transformed the dress. My mother had been anxious all week about wearing something that did not fit properly, and when she saw the final result, she was brought to tears. On the day of the wedding, she looked absolutely stunning. We cannot recommend Eva enough. She is talented, kind, calm under pressure, and deeply gifted at what she does. Thank you, Eva, for saving the week and helping make such an important occasion feel as beautiful as it was meant to be.

Eva fixed the hem of two pairs of pants, repaired a ripped seam on one of those, and put in a new zipper on a third pair. I dropped them off at 10:45 AM and they were all ready at 6pm on the same day. The price felt fair and the work was perfectly done. I’ll definitely go back!

Replaced the zipper on a pair of jeans for me. 48 hrs and 20€ later it was done. Fast, friendly, and quality work. I recommend!
