In my opinion not as good as La plagne but a ok ski resort with plenty of skiing for 6 days. Plan ahead as very hard to get into restaurants unless booked. I didn't like the hassle of having to pay for parking when I entered 1800 as I already had free parking with my accommodation and had to mess about validating my ticket. The paid fast lanes is a silly idea. The pistes were well maintained and there was a great selection of blues and reds at the top of the transarc lift. Not the resorts fault but travel to and from geneva was a absolute nightmare taking well over 5 hours.

Les Arcs 1600 - Overcrowded, chaotic and utterly soulless Les Arcs 1600 is, frankly, a huge disappointment. The resort has all the charm of a cheap mass-tourism summer destination, transplanted into the Alps: concrete blocks, uninspiring architecture, and a completely soulless atmosphere. There is nothing here that feels remotely Alpine. The skiing experience is where it really falls apart. The slopes are absurdly overcrowded — thousands of people funnelled into the same access points, creating chaos from early morning onwards. Getting up onto the ski area is stressful, poorly managed and time-consuming, with long queues that feel out of control rather than “busy season” normal. Ski etiquette is almost non-existent. Aggressive skiing, people cutting queues, reckless behaviour in congested areas — it often feels unsafe rather than enjoyable. Instead of relaxing and enjoying the mountain, you spend your time navigating crowds and avoiding collisions. Once the lifts close, the disappointment continues. Arc 1600 is flat, dull and lifeless. There is no real village feel, no warmth, no atmosphere — just functional accommodation blocks and very little reason to linger outdoors. Bottom line: if you value charm, calm, safety, or even basic ski-resort character, avoid Les Arcs. It’s overcrowded, visually bleak, badly organised, and far more hassle than holiday.

We booked a week in Vallandry and had a wonderful time. We have visited a lot of skiing resorts and would consider Paradiski to be one of the best. We found the slopes to be in really good conditions in spite of this being early April with a lot of variation. The connections are really good, including the connection between Les Arcs and La Plagne. Some of the resorts seem to be lacking a bit of soul but we found Vallandry to be really good with everything one needs (shops, restaurants,...). We will be back!

Amazing ski destination. Probably one of the best. 1950 is a small, ski only village in les arcs. cars are not allowed in the village. the streets are for skiiers. so all the village is ski in ski out. its quite small. i would say you could reach anywhere in the village in 5 min, but it has everything you need. ski equipment rentals, restaurants, bakery, grocery. if you wish to go to another village, you have a gondola to les arcs 2000 which works all day until 23:00 or so and leaves Every few minutes. You also have a free ski bus that drives between the sites villages which you can take to 1600 or 1800. in terms of ski the site is awesome. lots and lots of slopes and lifts. you will not get bored. the site is huge. there is also a very nice app called yuge that helps you find your way around and even track your ski activity and more and more.

Very big resort with al types of slopes. Quite high so quality of the snow is great. Ski lifts are in good conditions. Lifts tend to get a bit overcrowded at times.

Great ski resort. A part of Paradiski. Great infrastructure, many chairlifts and cablecars, beautiful views

Awesome slopes, especially around the Derby chairlift, and great places to eat and enjoy your evenings
