The best food we had in our 2 weeks in France traveling around. Perfectly cooked. Amazing flavours and to top it off perfect coffee the way I asked for. Highly recommend to visit.

Well wort reserving a table here. And certainly you need to reserve (several days in advance in high season). An extremely warm welcome and service from the owner/waitress and her colleague. No long wait times but equally no rushed service (they limit their service to 45 seats per session, so no quick turn over the table to get another service in - much appreciated). Nice friendly chat with the owner at the end of our meal. The environment is lovely (on the fountain side of the terrace - when you book mke sure you ask to be seated there rather on the street side of the restaurant. Much enjoyed the food, which is of quality, all home made, and generous in portion size without being excessive. The only comment I would make is that the croquettes de riz de veau was too dominated by the béchamel sauce. Will return next year.

We were delighted by the food and service that Inge and her team provided. All homemade food. We couldn’t be seated outside due to the size of our party but we were seated in the window with a lovely view. All the wine we tried was lovely and everything was presented in a beautiful way. If Inge has time you should ask her about her story, fascinating and romantic how they wound up in this region! I hope to bring my mother and father here when we travel next summer.

I cannot recommend this place more. The food, the service. Well worth a detour. It’s starred on my google maps and I hope to go back one day. Fabulous. Our friends said they hadn’t eaten that well in many months.

The food is nothing short of spectacular , the owner was very attentive and explained everything very friendly. This added to the amazing cozy atmosphere and great music. Fair prices . All in all 5 stars experience. Would come back every day!

What a gorgeous little restaurant in the picturesque village of Castellane. A perfect stop when driving Route Napoleon to Nice/Antibes. The service was excellent!

We enjoyed our stop at Le Bardot on our way to Gorges du Verdon. The hostess was super polite and ambiance beautiful. The food was good and quantity sufficient.

This super cozy restaurant was amazing. The food was INCREDIBLE, possibly one of the best risotto I have ever eaten. My boyfriend had the suggestion of the day which was tortellini with chicken and red sauce that was absolutely delicious. The people serving were incredibly nice! They gave us the password of the wifi since the signal in the town is not so good and they even brought a bowl of water to our dog. If you are in Castellane you have to try this place!!!!
