Beautiful castle has been handed through the same family more than 800 years. The architecture combines 13 to 16 centuries elements with such elegance. The castle visit is done by guided tour. Our guide is a young lady, sorry not be able to recall her name, her explanation was rich, passionate with a lot of humour. We were deeply touched by the relationship between this noble family and the villagers.

Peaceful site, with the possibility to buy a hot or cold drink and outdoor games for children. The guided visit of the castle is interesting, done in french but with the english translation in a booklet so you can follow as you go along. The gardens are a little bit of a let done as they are not really maintained, OK to walk around but wouldn't go for just the gardens.

A very interesting guided tour of the chateau, the staff are very friendly and helpful. The estate church is also very interesting, tours of chateau are on the 1/2 hour and last an hour, allow a further hour for the grounds and other exhibits/outdoor games.

Beautiful historical château but really "abandon". The castle it self was yellow from the old age and the garden was a little bit haggard. Such a shame

Visits are possible with guided tours in French only. For those not speaking French there are booklets in several languages. Taking pictures inside the château is forbidden.

Lovely setting for our last 2 nights of Scout Summer Camp with Eagle Troop from 3rd Hayling

No photos allowed which is a shame since there is an interesting collection of art and taxidermy. You only see a few rooms, didn’t get to tour the garden although from far away it didn’t look like much. We were quickly rushed out after the tour. Overall just ok.

Cool privately owned castle. The tour is however only in French.
