CHAMPAGNE FLORIAN

Last Champagne house of 5,000 to still use oak barrels. Very busy on Sunday morning - 34 people tasting. One very eloquent, knowledgeable host - totally over-run. Should have booked!

Abrupt front of house with a no-nonsense attitude to sales. Forced the tasting menu and told "it was not free". Limited tasting choice. Champagne itself was tasty, we bought some but disappointed compared to the hospitality of the other houses.

the location is wonderful, a short ride from main road, within the park, crossing small cities and lovely wineyards. the champagne they make is also wonderful! not 5 stars only because the staff is not very helpful, and not in good mood to receive tourists... hope this review will help them to improve their kindness. hope to go there again sometime...

Great champagne at fair prices and a super friendly host that makes his wines with passion and love. Highly recommended!

Very helpful with all the questions we had and interesting story about how they still make the champagne in large wooden barrels most of all; the brut, rose and millesime are excellent value for the money. The rose is not mixed with red wine!

Drop-in visit, fixed tasting alternatives at a cost. Knowledgeable and friendly host. Very nice Champagne even in the lower price ranges.
