Avis
Nice Côte d’Azur Airport is a very nice, clean and modern airport that offers a smooth and relatively seamless experience. The staff are kind and welcoming throughout, and both security and passport control are very efficient, usually taking around 10 minutes which makes the process quick and easy. There are plenty of seating areas and the toilets are clean and well maintained. The airport has a good mix of high end and standard shops to browse, along with lots of places to eat and a wide range of restaurants. Bottled water is reasonably priced for an airport at around €2.50. There are also designated smoking areas available. One of the highlights is the great views of the sea from Terminal 2. The airport is very easy to access by tram, bus or taxi which makes getting there simple and convenient. There are also some fun extras like arcade games, a piano and interactive light features which add something different to the experience. The only downside during our visit was a delay of over an hour with easyJet, although this was not the fault of the airport itself. Overall, a clean, efficient and well equipped airport with great views and good facilities.
I do not understand why the reviews in this airport are so low. I have nothing wrong with this airport, very easy to navigate and very high-end shopping as well. Everyone was nice. The food options were great. The bathrooms were clean. What can I say the nice cote D Azur airport is ok in my book? I would fly out of there anytime pretty cool view. If you get away from the wing of the plane, you can see some pretty good views of the French Riviera down below as the plains take off directly towards the city of nice and bank. Into the ocean.
Small but very well organized and with modern facilities which is to expect from an airport belonging to a city as important as nice but rarely on airports of this size and traffic amount There’s not many shops but enough to get some treats and restaurants to enjoy some snacks. Gates are within reach, **lounges are only for business class (unless flying non Schengen) as of February 2026 priority pass guests get 25€ credit at the store located at Schengen gates
The large airport in Nice, France. There’s various places here and many different kinds of things that facilitate their passenger experience. And they also have Hi-end brands like Dior. I travelled in Cannes for the music festival concert 🎵 and came here by Bus no.620 The weather around here is almost rainy all day in February
Airport is modern, clean, and very easy to navigate. Great location close to the city with beautiful views during takeoff and landing. Security and check-in were efficient, but some areas can get crowded during peak hours. Overall, a pleasant travel experience.
Nice Airport = NICE ♡ Terminal 1 Small + functional Everything on one level. • Bus terminal ~ Right outside the airport. You can plan trips to other European cities. Bus to Monaco also departs here. I took FlixBus from Paris to Nice Airport. • Info counter was very helpful. When you exit the airport, follow sign 12+ (pink) to the bus stop. Ticket machines are right there. Tram is another easy option. • From airport to city centre by bus ~ only €7 daypass. Explore until you exhausted. I went to Monaco from the city with bus no.600, €2.50 paid in coins directly to the bus driver. By card also can. • Luggage storage @ Centre de Services. Next to the entrance/exit. Reasonable price. I stored my bag 9 hours = €17. • Toilets : Clean + Water refill near toilet on level -1. "On ne revient jamais identique" Merci 🇫🇷
We had the most surreal and unpleasant experience of any airport ever at Nice airport. We arrived at Terminal 2 three hours before our 0600 flight (as per current advice.) we walked in to find a cordon across, preventing entrance to the check in desks. There were no lights on, everything was shut. There was no staff around, not even security. A few people were already waiting and the numbers increased rapidly. At around half three a number of (possibly security) staff arrived and removed the cordon but these were the only staff around. We needed to drop our bags with Easy Jet but there were no signs regarding where this was and still no desks open. Eventually someone spotted another corridor to another check in area and we followed this to find the unmanned Easy Jet area. We had checked on our phones and discovered that the Easy Jet desks were due to open at 0340 but it was now after this time. A while later two young EJ members of staff appeared. A couple of people checked in their bags but then the conveyor belts all broke. The staff admitted they didn’t know what to do. Eventually another man arrived and things finally were sorted. We headed to security where we encountered the rudest staff ever. Absolutely no customer care, barking instructions with filthy looks at us. I told the one lady (politely in French) how rude she was and she gave me what can only be described as “a mouthful” back, which I ignored. There was very little time left to do anything other than wait the now little time that was left, which was a good job as everything apart from one coffee outlet was shut. I had a very weak tasting hot chocolate. In conclusion, a farce of an airport, very unpleasant and quite stressful whilst we were trying to check in our bags for a long time with staff who had no idea what to do so we feared actually missing our flight. After the initial security staff opening the cordon, who actually only looked like cleaners - no evidence of any security equipment, we sa
A fairly small airport with convenient access between Terminals 1 and 2 via a tram. It’s also easy to reach the city from here. Just make sure to purchase a valid ticket before boarding, as fines for fare evasion can be quite steep.
