If you have any doubts, just book your stay here. You won’t regret it, trust me… We (my partner and I) recently had the pleasure of staying here and it was an exceptional experience. The hotel is situated in a beautiful location (with a view) with two delightful eateries and a local winery just around the corner. This area is perfect for stunning walks, although having a car is handy for exploring the surroundings more thoroughly. The hotel itself offers no unnecessary frills, just neat and nice, not over-the-top rooms. One of the best hotel buffet breakfasts we've ever had was served here, featuring a variety of simple but delicious local options. Additionally, the hotel boasts a lovely swimming pool with comfortable loungers. The hotel is an (long history) family owned hotel with an interesting Corsican history, which is evident in its character and charm. The super friendly and helpful staff made our stay even more enjoyable. This was a perfect start to our three-night road trip. Highly recommended for anyone looking to experience the authentic charm of Corsica with comfortable accommodations and excellent service. Ps. One of the highlights nearby is a restaurant associated with the last operational olive oil maker in Corsica, and possibly France, run by a charming 90-year-old gentleman. This unique experience added a special touch to our visit. Thanks again, team Mare E Monti, and for those going, enjoy your stay! 🥂

We had a very pleasant stay at Mare E Monti. The pool was nice and it’s was enough space for everyone. The bar by the pool was a nice feature. Feliceto was also a very nice small town with a few good restaurants.

Family owned hotel in the mountains so a car is required. Our room had the most fabulous views over the mountains with 2 large windows giving lots of light into the room. Spacious room with a lovely large bathroom, bath robes and slippers provided and they had sprigs of fresh lavender on as did the toiletries. Lovely and clean with lots of hot water. Heated pool with plenty of sun loungers. Breakfast limited but all local with homemade jams etc. The building is an old house beautifully restored but with plenty of stairs!

Charming hotel, lovely old features. Nice pool looking out at the valley and mountains. Nice hotel for getting away from the rat race and just relaxing. Nice breakfast. The terrace was shaded by grape vines which were laden with delicious black grapes. A short walk into the village where the locals were very friendly, even offering us some birthday cake at a cafe when we stopped for a drink.

I highly recommend this place to those looking for a quiet retreat. I stayed at the hotel for five nights and enjoyed the place all along. Feliceto is a very quiet village in a wonderful location, overlooking the valley and the sea. The road to the village is amazing. It is like being on a "balcony" and going from one village to the other while enjoying the views all along. The hotel is very nice and very well maintained. The hosts are welcoming and always willing to help and to provide recommendations. The rooms are nice, very clean, and the bed is comfy. There is a swimming pool with long chairs and shade where people can relax. The breakfast is a nice buffet with plenty of choices and mostly local food. I highly recommend this place for relaxing vacation.

A magical experience. What an amazing building and the owners (still in the family!) have kept it in impeccable state. Though with modern facilities, the renovations have been done true to the nature and history of the building, and we very much appreciated that as guests. There is even a room you can look into from the grand stairways, that has the original decor and furnishings. We felt honored to stay in this beautiful house. But it doesn’t end with the house. At Mare e Monti we were greeted by the friendliest staff in a down to earth manner. The breakfast was the best we had during our holiday in France. Not with a thousand options: but high quality and delicious locally produced ingredients. Sitting in the beautiful, serene backyard eating the tasty breakfast was one of my personal highlights of our trip. True tranquility. The pool area is also a wonderful feature, relaxing and quiet. We also ate at the restaurant one evening - fantastic service and food. Very much hope to be back for this genuine, peaceful and inspiring stay. Thank you!

Feliceto is the place. It is A really amazing place in the mountains made up by a single street. The hotel was in a perfect position, close to the couple of restaurants available. Breakfast was amazing and the room was great, even though we didn’t use the pool at all. Staff was very available. The only thing I didn’t love was the bathroom (a shower would have been better IMO), but it’s a small detail. Room was crystal clean. Will come back :)

Heard about this hotel from a friend who had stayed here recently. Arrived to find the hotel cold and dark. Felt a bit behind the times. No elevator and had to carry two largish bags up 3 flights of stairs. Room was of a poor quality. We had booked a double bed but had been made up as singles. Couldn't be bothered to argue the toss so just put up with this. Having said all that we asked for a table at their restaurant and had a lovely meal there. Great young man for a waiter and the chef popped out to speak to us to make sure all was well with the food. On returning to our room on the second day we were disappointed with the way the room had been made up and could have done a better job ourselves on remaking our beds. The bathroom had a shower over the bath but no screen to stop water pouring onto the floor. Towels were thin and well worn.
