Beautiful hotel with stunning views from the rooms and a very fast check-in process — these were the main positives. The spa was also very good, and we really enjoyed the massage. Unfortunately, the negatives seriously outweighed the positives. The restaurant was absolutely terrible. The food was tasteless, portions were ridiculously small, and there was no option to order from a menu — only a fixed set menu. We spent two and a half hours there and still did not even receive the full menu because the service was so slow and disorganized. In the end, we were too tired to continue waiting and had to leave and go to bed. The service was also rude and completely unprofessional. Pool service was essentially non-existent. There was nobody there, no sunscreen available to buy, no basic poolside service at all. The pool officially opens at 8:00, but when I arrived at 8:30, the cleaning vacuum was still in the pool. I had to remove it myself because there were no staff around. The first employee only appeared at 9:30, even though the pool had supposedly been open for an hour and a half already. Communication with the hotel was also incredibly inconvenient. There is a phone in the room, but no clear instructions or numbers for how to reach reception. Because of this, we could not order room service or even ask for assistance with luggage. These are basic details that should be obvious in any hotel, especially at this level. The pillows were another disaster. Extremely cheap, oversized, uncomfortable, and impossible to sleep on. There were multiple pillows, but all of them were equally bad — too hard, too bulky, and clearly very poor quality. We barely slept. This hotel looks beautiful, but behind the design there is a shocking lack of comfort, service, and attention to detail.

Our recent stay at Château Saint-Martin & Spa was nothing short of perfection. From the moment we arrived, we were enveloped in an atmosphere of refined luxury, timeless elegance, and warmth that is incredibly rare to find. The property itself is breathtaking, offering stunning, panoramic views that capture the very best of the region's beauty. The estate exudes a wonderful historic charm—and while a subtle, gentle refresh in a few areas could provide the ultimate finishing touch to its world-class comfort, everything remains meticulously maintained.

We loved staying at Chateau Saint Martin. The staff was friendly and helpful. The view from our room and the restaurant was stunning, the beds were comfortable; and the spa was lovely

Beautiful property and great service. We had a very roomy suite which offered panoramic views of Vence. The reason I took out one star from its location is that it is somewhat isolated being on the hilltop (but it is not a negative) and commuting to other towns took a little more time. The dinner was a tad disappointing as the dishes were ordinary and the tables are crammed to each other. The food at the bar was better.

We stayed here as a couple for 4 nights and absolutely loved everything. The service was outstanding, the staff were incredibly friendly and helpful, and the room was spotless and very comfortable. The food was delicious — beautifully presented and full of flavor, with very attentive service. The entire hotel is well-maintained, peaceful, and has all the amenities you need for a relaxing stay. We didn’t try the spa or massage services, and honestly regret not doing so — they looked amazing. Excellent value for money. One of the best hotel experiences we've had in years. Huge thanks to the entire hotel team for their amazing work — we truly appreciated it. Highly recommended!

We visited the hotel to celebrate a birthday and were delighted with every aspect of our stay. From the moment we arrived at this beautiful property (in a tiny rental car) we were made to feel entirely special. Staff were welcoming, efficient and charming. We had been upgraded to a room with superb views over the hills. We enjoyed the beautiful pool area, the spa and enjoyed the chef’s tasting menu for dinner. The breakfast buffet was excellent. Staff were extremely obliging - helping us with walking routes and providing details and samples of the jam we had enjoyed at breakfast. |We have stayed at many good hotels all over the world, but what impressed us particularly about Chateau Saint Martin was the service. We would 100% recommend the hotel to friends looking for an indulgent break in a beautiful setting. Thank you for a superb stay.

We had an incredible stay here. The decor is impeccable, staff is so professional and courteous, and food was delicious. It was so lovely to get out of the hustle and hustle of Nice (way too many tourists in the summer). We went to the spa and had a mixed experience. My treatment was great. My husband had a mosquito in the room that kept biting the massage therapist and they didn't let her pause or move rooms so it was not as luxurious of an experience as it should have been for the price.

It is the most lovely location and the place could not be more welcoming. The staff go out of their way to make your stay memorable. In particular, Diego, who was looking after us on our last dinner on the terrace. He was amazingly attentive and listened to what we wanted. He got the kitchen to prepare a wonderful sharing dinner. Diego helped to make it a memorable family evening.
