We ate at COZNA this evening, my wife and I had one last date night before our baby arrives and it turns out we chose the perfect place! The service was fantastic, we were shown to our seats upstairs in a lovely setting, we loved the decor and the atmosphere was perfect. Both of our servers were so polite and friendly, it really added to our experience. The food, wow, everything was presented beautifully, the flavours were spot on, I’ve been a chef for over 20 years and the balance in every dish was absolutely perfect. In fact, it was so good we ended up ordering all of the desserts, a great choice by us as they were all perfect in their own way! We can’t wait for our next trip down from the mountains to Annecy, we will be back! Huge thanks to the team for a lovely evening!
Excellent food quality and excellent services provided by the wait-persons. The fast paced services provided by the two wait-persons were very professional and fun to watch.
We met a friend in Annecy and were lucky enough to secure the last table at Cozna for lunch. Tucked into a charming pocket of the old town, the location alone makes it worth a visit. The meal more than matched the setting — beautifully cooked, thoughtfully presented, and delicious. The atmosphere was relaxed yet pleasantly buzzy, creating the perfect backdrop for an enjoyable, unhurried lunch. A lovely find in Annecy.
The food was extremely average. The dessert was really bad and completely unacceptable for a restaurant that claims to be a fine dining establishment
From outside you could not imagine the impressive food and service you will find inside. We ordered a day menu and special menu. Food excellent and better service. The reservation is almost mandatory as they have only few tables. We will repeat again. We paid roughly 100 eur including a bottle of wine, so comparing with other restaurants in the area, it deserves a visit!
Three of us were lucky to get the last table on the patio at lunch today. Reserve if you can. We were greeted warmly and professionally. Food allergies were addressed with ease. Our selections of glasses of local wines from their short but well-curated list arrived swiftly. The mise-en-bouche (melon soup + Parmesan Madelines), the mushroom purée appetizer, the fish and chicken mains) and the fig and ice-cream tart, comprising the “daily menu” were all of the highest standard. Bravo to the kitchen. Their Michelin mentions are well-deserved.
We were on holidays in the area hiking and wanted to try out this restaurant - we phoned the restaurant, open from 12:00-14:00 during lunch to see what's the latest possible time to come; we were told last order is accepted at 12:45 (quite strange but OK) so we rushed there to make it on time. After we arrived, the waiter told us she is full - there were 2 tables free inside and 2 tables free outside at 12:44. Unless all 4 tables were arriving in the next 1 min to comply with their last order deadline, she simply refused to seat us... It was really quite disappointing to have such a 'welcome' there. But lucky us - we than found Anto restaurant next door and truly recommend it - great service, warm welcome & excellent food! happy we were rejected by this place!
Best food of my life, and my wife's birthday dinner no less. Prawns tartar, lamb confit, sea bass. Cozna offers a sublime dining experience all around.
