Beautiful people make beautiful hosts & make a hotel stay experience even more beautiful. We had a really good stay at the hotel, the room was very comfortable, with good beds, spacious, clean & well maintained. Very quaint and old world cosy with a great view. Food is limited & the breakfast is basic. The hosts are great & very helpful. They got us a taxi driver who spoke English & knew the exact places to see & places to go & eat. His name is Jose great guy & very friendly. Will surely visit the little village again & connect with these people for sure. Cheers Anu & Roshan

What a cute and cozy place . Huge garden , simple but nice rooms, great breakfat in a room vwith a view. Most accomdating service, ample parking , dogs accepted, all requests have been promptly deliveed, This is a perfect retreat when visiting the nearby 3 Star Restaurant Auberge de L'Ill . We come back

We loved this hotel! The room was amazing! Very clean and well stocked with toiletries! The main lobby is stunning! They do have accessible rooms! So that’s awesome too! I felt like the price point was amazing! The staff were very accommodating and friendly! Definitely will be coming back.

We stayed here as we had a dinner reservation at the Auberge de L'ill in nearby Illhaeusern, although decided the distance was too far to walk. The hotel is down a long drive between two villages in open countryside and has an outdoor pool. The proprietors and staff are very welcoming and the rooms nicely decorated. My room for one had a large bed and very small bathroom. My friends' room was more spacious and had a balcony. Breakfast was lovely with self boil eggs, breads, pastries, cheeses, meats, prepared fruit etc. It was a very pleasant stay and only a few miles from busy Ribeauville and the Alsace Wine Route. I would recommend it for walkers, wine tourers and visitors to the Auberge de L'ill.

We visited this hotel as it was just up the road from Auberge De LillHausern, the restaurant. We noticed several other guest were doing just the same as us.||The room I had included beds for 3 people so it was a good size. The beds was comfortable and room very clean. ||The appearance is a bit dated but this is more than made up for by the friendliness of the staff and the scenery about. ||There is no Restaurant but breakfast is a very good continental with a wide choice

Stayed here for 1 night in May 2015. The hotel is located between the villages of Illhaeusern and Guémar, in q quiet spot off the main road. Great view from the balcony on the surrounding hills and countryside. Rooms are quite small and basic (especially the bathroom), but good enough for a short stay. Free Wi-Fi is available. Breakfast buffet was tasty and had a wide array of choices.

We returned with friends to this hotel because of it location and the wonderful warm & friendly owners, M.&Mme. Loux. Looking out on the plain of Alsace, secluded & quiet. Rooms sparkling clean & comfortable at a reasonable price. How can you miss. Just minutes away from all the sights of Riquiwihr , Kaysersberg & Selestat, even Strasbourg just 45 min. away if you need a bigger city. High praise for this wonderful hotel.

Outstanding service is a very nice property not too far from Basel. Rooms have character. Germans and French guests are probably the main target audience for breakfast choices and warm food needs to be ordered.
