Very nice site, we had a very large pitch for our van, clean site, well kept and friendly site lady. Lovely area for walking or cycling. Extremely peaceful. This site has a lovely pool, well maintained.like the Terminator I'll be back
Motorhomers - everything we needed. Water and electricity at pitch. Municipal Aire for recycling and dumping grey water opposite. Great staff, peaceful well-maintained site, with good extras such as the pool and games lounge. Close to the village for food shopping, fuel and cafe/resto. Recommend.
Stayed one night camping here. Lovely welcome by owners. Was start of season so quite. Pitches all surrounded by shrubs, trees and lovely views. The toilet/showers very clean and neat. There is also a large room to use with lots of seating, books, bar, electric and wifi. Well organised. Good price. the village has good food too. The surrounding area is spectacular.
We were here for nearly a week with our seven children. I had asked for shade and they gave us the perfect pitch tucked up in a corner. Very clean facilities and a small but well kept pool. This is a great base to explore the beautiful area. I give it five stars because the management are very friendly and work very hard to keep it personable and clean.
This place was like shelter from a sunny storm! The staff very kindly made room for us after an 18 hour drive to pitch our tents and get some food, drink and a shower. We were very warmly welcomed by the family who run the campsite, great people and great ambassadors for the people of the South of France. We had a go at speaking a bit of French, which was good fun, but cannot thank Lisa enough for her fluency and generally sorting us out with everything! The site was quiet and peaceful, even on a busy night as the TDF passed through the village! Highly recommended!
Stopped here for one night in May 2017. ||||We just turned up at about 6pm, and were welcome by a man about 18years old, who spoke great English to our delight. He and his mother were really lovely and friendly. ||||Really good value for camping, clean toilets, no rubbish, peaceful, flat grassy pitches, a car barrier in/out of the site and there was a pool too.||||There is the option to pre-order bread and croissants from the reception, so we did and they were yummy!||||Would highly recommend.
We have just come back from cycling through the Pyrenees an staying at a lot of campsites. This was one of the best. Thanks to the staff who were excellent and helped us to navigate the French postal service. It was good to have free access to a tumble drier and drying room as we had a lot of wet clothes.
Having crossed the Pyrenees with my caravan, travelling from the Bilbao ferry, we arrived late afternoon. The owner/manager "Sylvie" managed to let us have the last available pitch. All pitches have shrubs or hedges dividing them to give everyone some privacy. Sanitary block was clean and reasonably modern. By the entrance barrier there is a second small toilet block which is very new.||On site there is a well kept pool, bar and small shop, and information area. The area around the pool and bar (snacks) gets the sun most of the day.||Theres lots to do in the area, and you must visit Pau, and Oloron St Marie. The village of Aramits has a handy supermarket and auberge within walking distance.||My recommendation is have a beer with a cognac chaser, and watch the French people playing boules, enjoy.||Lovely intimate site, quiet and well maintained with very pleasant staff.
