Nice historical fort. Free admission. Not crowded. Must see!

Cool fort with greay history and great views.

We arrived too late, because the fort was already closed, but it still was worthy to go there for the views. You can stay outside the fort and take great pictures, which we did.

It's free to visit the fort. Well maintained location and informative. BBeautiful view from the site. Friendly staff who helped us to find other local activities in the city making our Besse Terre Guadaloupe experience enriching.

Fort Delgrès offers stunning views and a charming mix of poetic and historic atmosphere. It’s a peaceful spot to enjoy the surroundings while learning a bit about the area’s past. A lovely visit!

Worth a visit to learn about the fight for freedom of the people. The entrance is free, the site is well maintained, and the views are good. My favorite was the beautiful poetry around the fist sculpture. Google maps navigation is sometimes a bit confused around here. Bonus: The interviews of people are upside down 🙃

Nice and helpful staff at the entry (one can speak a little English). Gave me information flyer in French and English about the history of the Fort. Very neat location. Free entry. A small room about history of Liberation from slavery is also there. A good place to spend an hour.
