Friendly and efficient reception. Spacious apartment with lovely views especially from the bedroom - photo link was from the bedroom. Well equipped. Very hot water for showers etc. Excellent linen service - linen and towels hygienically plastic wrapped including disposable mattress and pillow protection. Lift to the apartment floor level, with the swimming pool at the bottom of the lift. Garage easily accessible from the apartment. Private terrace. Lovely view, even from the back of the block! Easy check in and check out. Clear inventory check on arrival and damage deposit return on departure. Great communication from the hosts from the time of booking until arrival, when receptionist was on hand at set hours.||However, Smelt strongly of cigarette smoke on arrival, but this dissipated after a few days with the window open. Swimming pool facility only open until 18.45hrs, poor for apres skiing but would imagine this would not be a problem in the summer months.||We’d definitely go back....... no, we ARE going back!

The room smelled like rotten fish, apparently it came from the fridge. We did not understand why they offered a cleaning service (for which you pay like 10€ per person) but you still have to bring towels and bed sheets at the reception and rubbish outside the room. Low prices. Very close to the skiing tracks (S. Gervais). Reasonably close to the city centre (around about 1.2 km). Professional staff.

Just returned from spending a week in St Gervais (June15). We've been to the town several times before (we used to own an apartment) but this is the first time we've stayed here. The location was fantastic, the apartment lived up to the photos and description on the website, and the staff were helpful, friendly and welcoming. ||Free wifi in the room was great, and we had a balcony with table and chairs where we dined out each evening enjoying the sun and the fabulous view of the mountains. The apartment was great we had a bedroom, a bunk room, dining table and chairs for 6 people, dishwasher and kitchen area. The kitchen was well equipped with utensils, microwave and hob, the only let down was a lack of an oven.||As others have noted this is self catering and you have to leave the apartment clean on your departure, however this is fairly standard in the town, and you do have the choice, pay someone to do it, or do it youself. The garage was another great feature, kept the car cool all week.||The booking process was very easy and I would recommend booking on the Vacannces Mont Blanc Website as they are the local agents. I had a couple of queries before I booked all of which were responded very promptly (their English is excellent). They even made arrangements for us to pick up the key early as we had an early flight, excellent service. ||It's around a 15 minute walk into town where they are a range of local shops, restaurants etc and there are tennis courts, mini golf and a swimming pool 5 mins walk away.||We have been going to St Gervais for around 8 years, in summer and winter, and have stayed in a couple of different places, but this has easily been the best. We will be booking here again for the winter.

We stayed here in a studio apartment with a sofa bed which also had a pull out bed underneath... at first I struggled to sleep on this until the receptionist explained that the smaller bed actually had legs that came out the bottom which then made it more comfortable as well as giving me an extra pillow to use. The apartment was perfectly usable it had a small lounge area with table and chairs and a kitchen with everything needed and then a bathroom with a bath and a separate toilet which was very handy. ||The location was great with a ski bus stop nearly directly outside (line B) which took you to the gondola in around 5 minutes. We also walked back every day which took around 15 to 20 minutes and was pleasant.||Saint Gervais centre is very nice and has lots of restaurants so in an evening you can have a gentle stroll into town for your dinner or a few drinks in some of the bars, it had everything you needed.||As for the apartment it had a fantastic pool and steam room, the pool was a nice temperature and big enough for a few people comfortably and the steam room was so hot it was great really helped the muscles after a hard day skiing.||The staff were also very friendly and helpful and I would stay here again if I return to the resort. Thank you for your service :)||||Also worth noting linen and towels are included but you only get one toilet roll and no shampoo or soap so you will have to buy these which we bought from a shop down in the town called 'Casino' which was like a small supermarket similar to that of a 'Spar' in England.

We were so relieved to walk in to this 2 bedroom apartment that lived up to the photos after having been tricked by wide angle photography at other apartments. They are a great size for a family with modern kitchens & bathrooms. They are a little walk up the road from the shops so the hire car was handy but you could get by without one. The pool and common areas are great, clean and welcoming. We fell in love with the town and hope to return one day.

Our friends own an apartment here and so we stayed in the apartment next door. It was on the third floor of Building B and had a splendid view across the valley. The accommodation was perfect for 2 (we had a second bedroom with bunk beds which we used to put all our clothes and the cheese in!) and everything worked well.||We were glad to have rented a car and driven, as it is a fair way from the shops and lifts, but snow on the steep approach driveway did create difficulties getting up to the garage without snow chains (even with snow tires). ||The weather (for skiing) wasn't that great for some of the week and it was very nice to have use of the swimming pool - though a pity the hammam wasn't in operation. Friendly concierge provided us with cards and scrabble and we enjoyed the book exchange. A good holiday location at any time of year.

We had a lovely week in a clean and comfortable apartment. The view from the room was stunning, the parking ample and the beds were very comfortable. Plenty of hot water available for a bath after a long day skiing.

Not a real Airbnb, just owner who wants to optimize their rental, no bed linens, towels provided, kitchen equipped but not for cook {salt, pepper, oil,coffee, tea}, the wash and dryer machine are in the common part and cost 5 Euros per machine. The swimming pool is not heated.
