HAMEAU DES RENNES

We booked as a big group. The rooms are ok, the view is nice. One if our friends wanted some help from the receptionist but they did not try to help. I don’t know why. Some of the locker keys are not working. The rooms were cleaned, but you have to do your bad alone, the lourdry and towels comes packeted. In the kitchen you don t have dishwasher soap, you need to buy it.

First of all, great people at the reception and the swimming pool. Super friendly and nice. The apartments are typical, they have all the necessities like an electric kettle or a coffee machine. The size was ok. There's also a tiny swimming pool, but they'd close it at 7, so too early for a comfortable and relaxed swim if you go snowboarding during a day. It's a bit away for the main road so if you arrive by bus or coach, you'll need to walk some 100 meters to get to the elevators. You'll also need to walk to get to the main chair lift station. There's a chairlift behind the building but it doesn't take you directly to the main arena. Overall, I would recommend it as a place to stay.

Pretty decent accommodation overall. It has a nice elevator system for easy access to the rooms, ski lockers and to the slopes. Superb view! What I didn't like was the lack of services during the stay. Consumables were not included (no soap, no shower gel, single toilet paper roll) and the towels were not replaced. Checkout conditions included removing the bedsheets and placing them on the livingroom sofa along with the towels, cleaning the kitchen and taking out the trash.

Spacious, well equipped apartment, but not so clean. It wouldn't be bad to get a new couch or wash the curtains. It's absolutely necessarily to wipe the floors better after each visitor.

Visited a few years ago. The apartments were immaculate. Visited and once again last month. The apartment was in need of some repairs. Still very nice apartments, great location but the shower head holder was broken, dishwasher was smelly, marks on the walls, missing cutlery, plates and mugs. The apartment was in need of basic DIY repairs.

A new development in Vars, 10 mins to the town centre yet almost ski in/out. As usual in France, the apartments are on the smaller side, with the living room/kitchen doubling up as a bedroom (double). The layout is well thought out, there is covered parking and opportunity to order fresh artisan bakery to the reception for the morning (was cheaper than local shops!). The staff vas very helpful. Had a great time.

Exceptional high quality ski resort. Lot of great skiing possibilities from newbie to professional. French people are nice and friendly. Young people talk English. Only negative two things. All information is only French. The internet WiFi is not working at all. Only mobile internet is working.

Apartments are cozy, bright and with a pleasing interior. The staff at the reception was super nice and welcoming throughout our stay. So far the best experience in the region.
