I must say that some of thé photos are not really taken at Plage du Galon d'Or. However, they are neighboring beaches. Gallon d'Or Beach especially is a very pristine one. Beautiful fine grain sand. The only thing is that you will be on your own risk when it comes to swimming, kite surfing and any other water activities since there is no beach or lifeguard. Some protected dunes along the Beach are even adding the ambiance of the best of nature. Please respect the rule to not to step on it. A must visit beach I would say.

Great beach. A little trek from the carpark, but great all the same.

Lovely quiet beach overlooking the estuary and out to see. Saw a floatplane taking off, lots of fish and bird life and enjoyed watching the tide slowly cover the sandbanks in the channel.

Great beach, I was used to go there quite often as a kid during summer vacation, this is a safe spot to swim, and there is a sailing school nearby where you could get lesson or boat rental if you are certified. What makes this place special is that you will be able to see some old bunkers built in 1942 by the germans along the coast. In july and august the place is pretty busy as it is a popular place in that area.

Lovely beach with dunes on the edge of a pine forest. Not safe for swimming. Plenty of free parking spaces, including disabled parking - I'm missing being there!

Long walk to beach over dunes but nice when we got there

A great open space by the Atlantic but not so good for swimming.
