Decent place for breakfast before the 9.36 to Paris, just across the road from the station.

We had a 90 minute stopover in Hendaye on our train journey at lunchtime today so went to Le Cafe Ole as it’s right outside the station. It was a very pleasant experience. The staff were extremely friendly, welcoming and efficient. We ate steak, chips & a salad. Good beef, grilled rare as ordered, good chips & a nice salad. Reasonably priced too. Recommended.

Just a scam. They have a luggage room, we paid 5€ per suitcase and gave us no ticket at all, they told us they were there until 18:00 for us to pick it up. We went at 16:15 and it was closed. The guy from the store next door called and said that in 25 minutes he would come, after an hour nothing, no one came. We had to go to the police and after they called he showed up in 5 minutes....

This venue sells delicious fresh food! I ate the salad plate with cheese and my husband had a steak with chips. Both meals were scrumptious. The service was very friendly and efficient for our 2:15 pm lunch. I would return.

The owner, the long-haired guy just charged me 50 cents for a slice of lemon. I asked for tea (for me tea comes with lemon) - the price list says 2.50 euros - and as I wanted a piece of lemon, he asked me 3 euros. I understand it is a business but he lost me as a customer. So pay attention, prices can increase in no minute, whatever it is listed. He doesn't like Spanish people, this time I spoke in Spanish, this was my "punisment", as exactly 2 days ago the same tea with lemon cost me 2.50. I spoke in English then. So pay attention what language you soeak, the price of your consumption can depend on it. :)

The owner is so rude. I asked him a single question, he didn’t even look at me, said “no” and moved on. Bleak looking place anyway so just as well.

I went here with my family as it was late. Very nice friendly restaurants, nice service and homemade dishes. I had a very delicious poulet basquaise!! I recommend this place, the staff is very friendly

Rude waiters. My mother does not like strong tea so she asked for the teabag separately from the hot water. The waiter said it was not possible and myself, surprised, explained to him that my mother just wanted to control how many minutes the tea was going to be in the hot water to make it a light tea. Instead, the waiter invited us to leave to another bar and we sure did. I recently posted this, not sure why it got deleted, and the owner replied that we just asked for the hot water to put our own tea. That must have been another costumer but not us, we did order a tea and the waiter managed the situation very rudely.
