My wife and I initially went here to buy a specific bottle of wine but came back for lunch because we liked it so much. After 2 weeks on the French Riviera, with many dinners and meals at “high end” restaurants, this was probably my favourite meal of the entire vacation. We had the fixed price lunch and the tomato sauce with the veal was heavenly and the side of pasta was incredible. Service was exceptional and the waiter was very knowledgeable when questioned about the prep. Highly recommended

An unmissable, elite dining experience This place doesn't just serve food; they serve an experience. The service is impeccable - the waiters are incredibly sweet, offering personalized recommendations and sharing the actual "story" behind your dish. The food is the highest quality I’ve eaten in France so far; the foie gras, veal liver, and chicken dish were flawless. Note on the wine policy: You can only dine here if you order wine, and it’s bottle-only. However, they sell them at retail prices, and the curation is spectacular, so it's a win-win. The terrace overlooks a beautiful basilica on a quaint side street. It’s cute, it’s delicious, and it is absolutely unmissable.

AMAZING experience here! Heirloom tomatoes and buffalo mozzarella was incredible. So much flavor. And the poulet from Brest with morels. 😍😍😍 Just incredible. And the service by Jean was superb. Handsome and wonderful! Go!!!

This place should definitely be on your list if you enjoy a beautiful wine list at good price points with exceptional seasonal foods. We never miss a visit when in Nice. If in season , try the burrata and white asparagus.

The very best restaurant in the old town of Nice. Their crunchy endive salad and Roquefort AOP is super delicious, and their calf’s liver with parsley accompanied with new potatoes is to live for ! As for their dessert: the crepe Suzette I have rarely tasted something so delicious. I usually don’t like sweets but this one was so light and the balance between the lemon and orange juice as well as the Grand Marnier is a delish ! I totally recommend that place to anybody wanting to experience French gastronomy in a cozy elegant setting. Plus they have delicatessen products and wine at the front of their store !

Had a beautiful meal and evening at Maison Pellegrino. The young man on front of house was very kind and friendly. We had the gambas risotto and veal escallope with potato gratin, all beautifully cooked and served. The restaurant is a wine shop with a kitchen so wine is sold by the bottle only, but we took away what we didn’t finish. Along with the lovely setting in a small square in the Old Town, you can’t get a better dining experience in Nice. Highly recommended.

This French wine restaurant offers exceptional food, an impressive selection of fine wines, and a warm, inviting ambiance that feels like dining in an authentic wine cellar. The dishes are beautifully crafted with fresh ingredients, the scrambled eggs with truffle is heavenly!! John was serving us and he recommended a great bottle of wine to go with our food. He was friendly and attentive and made the experience even more special. Perfect for wine enthusiasts and food lovers alike!

Wonderful experience with fantastic service. Clearly very enthusiastic about French Food and Wine - explained everything we had and all local produce. Stunning wine which complimented the meal and we had excellent banter with the host and staff . Will Definately recommend to everyone and return a soon as we can 🏆
