I can say that it is my favorite place in Bandol. The price/quality is excellent. Although there was only one person in the service, everything was fast. And the lady was very nice and kind. We preferred the classic menu. Both the main course were excellent. The sauce, the consistency of the fish was great. I would say it’s the best fish I’ve ever eaten. I enjoyed it a lot. The olive oil they used tasted like flowers. We loved it. The restaurant also sells this olive oil. Since it was very hot at noon, we preferred tomato and raspberry juice instead of wine. The brand they used was pretty good. Definitely a must come. Because anyway, everywhere is more or less in this price range or much more expensive and none of them are so beautiful.

One of the best restaurants in Bandol. In a seaside town full of tourist traps, L’Esperance is a welcome island of tranquility, culinary excellence, and authentic hospitality. Highly recommended.

One of the best meals I have ever had. And such fantastic value for money. We ended up coming twice throughout our holiday. It was so good. The first night we had the three course menus for 45€ per person, I can honestly say I’ve never had such fantastic food for such a reasonable price. The second time we went we had the more expensive menu which included lobster , costing 60€ per person for three fantastic courses. This equally was fantastic food at a very good value price. Whats more the portion sizes are a good size, we left feeling very full both times. The restaurant is very small and just received Michelin star. The hostess was a very friendly and beautiful lady who looked after us very well despite our bad french. and the fish… oh the fish! It was so good! So well cooked. It melted in our mouth. Great wine also and reasonably priced. The attention to detail and love that goes into the food here is just sensational. They are fully deserving of there Michelin star, and yet not at all pretentious. (The first day we just walked in with no reservation with our beach wear on, with no problem at all!) I don’t think k will ever get such fantastic food at such a great price again. I cannot recommend them enough! I wish this Restruant all the success, Thankyou for a lovley 2 meals. As a chef, I don’t understand how this restaurant does not have a Michelin star! It was fantastic from start to finish. Flavors, presentation, doneness, service was all on point.

Absolutely fantastic! Such good food and great service by a wonderful couple. Not very big (4 tables for 2 and 2 tables for 4) so make sure to reserve well in advance!

An amazing find, tucked away a little bit back off the main Bandol front. The food was amazing, service impeccable and all round atmosphere was fantastic! We would definitely recommend this little gem if you love good food and appreciate amazing flavours! Highly recommend 😊

Absolutely amazing. Perfect food served by an excellent husband and wife team. Cauliflower consume with truffles as a sampler to start. Out of this world good. Squab, foi gras and confit and breast with pea compote and asparagus with gravy. Amazing. Rabbit with stuffing is unbelievable and tasty with polenta. Make sure to portion stuffing to last whole rabbit. Shadow fish is delicious with milky lemon and artichoke puree consistency of potatoes and grilled artichokes. Finished with baked oyster on top with oyster lemon juice. Dessert was strawberry tart, with strawberry sorbet and fresh strawberries. My wife and I have been to many Michelin rated restaurants but this one of the best.

This is a real gourmet restaurant in the French Riviera. Everything is beautiful and the food spectacular. Make the detour to go and enjoy the finest French food!!!
