A great hidden gem in Chatellerault. I went with a group of 8 coworkers for a team dinner. The service was standard European style and the owner waited the tables (with very good English). The menu is all in French, but you can use Google Lens to translate. The appetizers was solid, the entree was incredible, and the desert was extremely good. As an American, I would classify this as a foodie restaurant and a fair price for what you get (again American budget). Make sure you get some good local wines. I will encourage colleagues to visit this restaurant when visiting our factory in this city. *not a hotel

Wonderful restaurant, we ordered a variety of dishes off the menu. Delicious Fricassée. Desserts were excellent with fresh fruit. Waiter was very friendly, but the place seemed to be short on staff so we had to wait a while between courses. Highly recommend!

Very over priced for the quality of food. We were over charged by 5 Euros for a bottle of water we didn’t have (we had tap water) but didn’t realise until we left and checked the receipt. Main course was pulled lamb but was served with some sort of pureed mash so it looked and tasted like baby food, I couldn’t eat it. Waiter gave my wine to someone else but corrected it, also gave our bottled water to another table and gave us tap water which was fine with us but we were still charged for it. Head waiter friendly enough but had a supercilious air which didn’t help when I tried to check the bill on paying as he drummed his fingers at the cash till as if bored that I needed to check.. hence we didn’t notice the overcharge until we left due to the pressure to pay quickly. We won’t return.

We had a wonderful meal here with great service. The waiter spoke English and helped us to pick out wines. Food was very good. Outdoor dining was cozy and pleasant.

The meal in the restaurant was very good. Parking is outside on the street free from 6pm to 9am..

Food was good, overall restaurant experience not. Spoiled by an unpleasant head waiter who behaves as though he is on piece work in a factory. A pity, as the other staff seemed nice.

We came here for dinner. First an Aperitif outside (the street passes behind but the traffic was not too much on a tuesday evening) then dinner inside. Food was good but Service was inacceptable. We felt pushed and not really welcome… I was astonished and our whole business dinner confirmed… the food was good but still I will not come back Go en the chance.
