1923년에 완공된, 지금 보기에도 현대적인 성당. 오귀스트 페레는 비록 무신론자였지만 강화 콘크리트의 가능성을 시험해보고자 이 프로젝트에 참여하게 됩니다. 좁고 경사진 부지에 1000명의 신자를 수용할 기념비적인 건물을 빠르고 경제적으로 짓는 것, 그것이 그가 당면했던 과제였죠. 르 하브르의 성 요셉 성당에서도 그러했듯, 페레가 설계한 종교 건축물에서는 인간의 의지와 신의 섭리가 결국은 만나게 됨을 느낍니다. 오래 전 이 교회의 설립을 위해 애쓰신 분들께 감사드립니다.

Nous avons eu la chance d’organiser le baptême de notre bébé dans cette église, et nous en gardons un souvenir absolument magnifique. La cérémonie était remplie d’émotion, de douceur et de bienveillance. Les prêtres sont profondément passionnés, à l’écoute et très éloquents, ce qui rend ce moment encore plus spécial. Le Raincy a une vraie chance de les avoir. Un immense merci pour ce si beau moment partagé !

日本の建築雑誌で取り上げていて、こちらの教会を知りました。 パリ市内のサン・ラザール駅や北駅からE線で約20分のRaincy Villemomble Montfermeil駅から徒歩15分程度です。パリから多少距離はありますが滞在時間も含めて3時間見ておけば十分だと思います。 Google map等に掲載されている写真も素敵ですが、実際に足を踏み入れてみると想像以上の景色が広がっていました。

Wir trafen während unseres Besuchs der Kirche Monsieur Arnion, der uns als Präsident der Association Restaurer spontan eine wunderbare und informative Führung gab und sich viel Zeit für uns nahm. Eine wirklich einzigartige Erfahrung, die uns das Bauwerk mit all seinen Farben noch viel lebendiger erfahren ließ!
