The most amazing waitress that I have ever met. She literally handled 20 tables by her own graciously. She was so kind that she offered us digestif at the end of our meal for free. On top of that the food were amazing. Luckily we arrived earlier, after 8 pm there was no more free table. Totally recommended if you want to have good food and good vibes!
A great restaurant in a tiny street with a hint of the sea. A constant light breeze to keep you cool even at noon. The waitress didnt speak much English but tried really hard and we were able to communicate very well. The meal was very tasty and not too expensive. We had an amazing time, no complaints. Strongly recommend.
Great food and an amazing atmosphere. Busy wee restaurant on a side street that did not fail to deliver. Lovely dishes and friendly staff.
Over the entrance to this restaurant is a sign: “Cuisine à la bonne franquette” (good old fashioned cooking). It certainly lives up to this and more. Quite simply a delicious dinner of the highest quality! Set in a quaint side street with warm and welcoming service, we enjoyed a lovely relaxed evening and would highly recommend. Best to book as it is very popular with both tourists and locals.
Outstanding food with great hospitality. I ordered pasta with Corsican cheese and it was so delicious that I decided to stay in Corsica one more day.
The waitress' kept being very pleasant and hospitable even ehen serving in very busy customer environment. Corsican menu they served was quite nice , may be except for the deep fried zucchini fritters. The ambience was great but has a potential to be overwhelming at times, especially in midsummers. Overall I recommend for first timers to eat in Corsica like me.
I wanted to eat real Corsica foods and this restaurant responded to my desire perfectly. It was also good for me that they had English menu as well as a staff member who spoke perfect English. It looks like that this restaurant is loved local citizens and the restaurant was filled with them.
Too bad, the food is actually good; but the entire experience is ruined by the waitress, who roams around with a big cloud of arrogance around her as if she's the queen of the world. Simple instructions (please, may we have a fork?) are met by a sigh and a gesture of annoyance. When she returns, she bangs the fork on the table. Going through the reviews, we aren't the only one who noticed these things. Pull up your socks, and treat your customers with respect. We are the reason you exist - remember that.
