LES TOITS DU DEVOLUY

We were swapped to these apartments at the last minute, so did not know what to expect. In fact we were pleased as they were closer to the main resort than our original accommodation. Just a five minute walk over a walk-way to the snow/shops/lifts and schools. ||||Although basic, they were very very clean. We opted for the 2-6 person apartment, although only myself, husband and 8 year old. Good size double room, v small bunk bed room (top bunk for child only) small lounge with convertable settee to sleep 2 more, but would be a real squeeze. Well equipped kitchen and nice bathroom. Would recommend for no more than 4 adults or a family with max 3 children. Very quiet position. Mainly families. Towels 18 euros for the three of us and you would have to pay for TV.||||Resort excellent for beginners or 2nd timers, lots of places to eat and shop. Found everyone very friendly and helpful. Mostly french spoken, but they were more than happy to help if you made the effort. ||||Ideal for families, can eat any time of day, not really for groups of singles as night life limited.||||Good value for money, free lift passes, but expect to pay 3 euros each for pass.||||Would def, go back.

The access to the place is not easy - a car is highly recommended. The reception is open only during rather limited ours/day so the clients need to time their arrival quite well.||||The staff is very friendly and helpful. That is why it is a shame that the facilities are way below their level.||||In comparison to any two-star accommodation establishment in North-America or most parts of Europe, this hotel lacks at least the following:||- bed linen and towels are not included||- TV not free (there was a small TV in the apartment, but using it cost 8 euro/day or 35 euro/week extra)||- housekeeping/cleaning services are not included (the customers are required to clean the apartments themselves or extra fees would apply)||- no wi-fi in rooms/aparments||- there is very little storage space in apartments||- front desk hours are very limited||- a "fully equipped kitchen" schould incude an owen (only a stove and microwave was provided - and a dishwasher, but no detergent, so we could not use it)||||Also, almost all services in the resort close at 7 or 7.30 pm, so there is very little to do in the evenings (especially without TV or internet).||||All in all, the landscape around is beautiful but hotel is unfortunately way below the announced three-star rating.

The accommodation of Les Toits du Devoluy is very basic. The beds are poor, kitchen is basic, bathroom, etc. In the end, we got what you paid for. Which made it ok.||We went to Superdevoluy on a skitrip, and the village is the same as the accommodation of the apartments. Everything really basic, but -for us- the snow was good which was the most important !

Je suis absolument déçu par cette résidence. Non seulement l'appartement nous a été remis dans un état de saleté inacceptable, avec des traces sur les murs, des sanitaires dégoûtants et des sols pleins de poussière, mais en plus, ils ont eu le culot de nous faire payer une caution de 90€, malgré l'état catastrophique dans lequel nous avons trouvé le logement. C'est inadmissible de faire payer pour un service qui n'a même pas été rendu correctement. De plus, le verrou de la porte d’entrée ne marchait pas alors qu’on l’a signalé au premier jour c’est seulement au bout du 3ème jour qu’un réparateur a réglé le problème à forces de plaintes. Le lave vaisselle ne marchait pas, et l’électricité a été coupé au dernier jour. Je déconseille vivement cette résidence à tous ceux qui recherchent un minimum de confort et de respect.

Zeer negatieve ervaring. Kamer zelf was prima en dicht bij de piste maar daar is alles mee gezegd. Onder andere een andere kamer gekregen dan waar we voor betaald en geboekt hebben. Administratie lijkt niet op orde. Hierdoor minder faciliteiten en minder ruimte. Een aantal verder opmerkingen op de kamer. Een lang persoon had niet in de douche gepast en er was bijvoorbeeld alleen een fleece deken aanwezig. Het was voor twee personen maar het bed bestond uit een bedbank die je zelf moest uitklappen waardoor de hele kamer praktisch gebruikt was door het bed. Meest vervelende ervaring met de receptionist. Zéér onvriendelijk, niet meedenkend, verwijtend en ongepast tegenover de klant. De klant was duidelijk geen koning en deze man weigerde mee te bewegen. Tevens zeer slecht bereikbaar. De receptie was hele dagdelen dicht, en de telefoon werd niet opgenomen na meerder keren op verschillende momenten en nummers te hebben gebeld. Verder beddengoed met vreemde vlekken. Het hele gebeuren was een beetje shady, dingen gebeurde net op een andere manier dan wat je verwacht bij een appartement. Een sterke afrader. Bespaar de frustratie en boek hier vooral niet! In ieder geval niet de studio. Wellicht zijn andere kamers beter.
