An incredibly popular and cosy restaurant with a fantastic atmostphere with view out over the sea. In the summer you can take advantage of the outdoor seating with sea views. Booking is essential. The menu is simple - just Lobster and frites for a main course! Served with a choice of three sauces. Oysters are available for a starter and also accras (fritters). Great value. Good selection of wines, simple deserts and good Irish Coffee. Service is super friendly and full of energy. We loved this restaurant and visited both in May and September.
We had a fantastic lunch here. The lobster and chips were delicious, with great sauces. We had oysters to start which were also amazing. The staff were very friendly, it had a great vibe and the location looking out across the sea is superb!
First time eating lobster and what a great place to do it. Lovely little restaurant with sea views. We all had homard frites - lobster and chips - with various sauces, including citrus and Mexican. The uncomplicated menu featured lobster and oysters. Excellent wines and beer to wash it all down. Very friendly staff and a nice atmosphere. Very enjoyable experience!
Went here with our very little kiddies. They made such an effort to make the experience fun for everyone. Absolutely delicious too. Only lobsters, oysters and acras served but served to perfection.
We had lunch in this restaurant, a simple, characteristic place with beautiful view. The food quality is good indeed, we took the homard and the meat was really good and tasty. What I did not like is that I took a beer, which price on the menu was indicated as 4,50€. When I paid the bill, the beer was counted 4,50€x2, so 9€ for one beer. I pointed this out to the waiter, he said it is because the beer was big (0,5), but this was NOT indicated on the menu, so no reason for double the price. I really do not like when they are not transparent with tourist, this price was a scam.
Absolutly delicious ! If you ever come to Guilvinec, you must go to "An Atoll". They serve lobster only ( and oysters & acras as starters) and good desert. It's local fresh lobster : way more tasty than north american ones. The triple lobster menu is a mind blowing experience. You'll enjoy both local (garlic, roasted) and Creole flavour ( Creole rougail tomate) and you're not gonna be disappointed ! On top of all that, the owner brew its own Rhum arrangé which is also absolutely delicious as digestive alcohol ! This place is just a blast, don't miss it !
We visited the restaurant An Atoll during our vacation. It is located directly at the sea and is known for its lobster. The evening was excellent. The service was top-notch and the food was terrific. Many thanks to the entire team for this wonderful evening with you. We will be back again next year.
Delicious food, very friendly staff, cosy atmosphere, beautiful view. N.B.You would need to order the table upfront.
