We were choosing between three restaurants for lunch and ended up going to Le Bas Fort Blanc because of its beautiful beachfront view. The menu was simple and easy to pick from. We started with oysters and mariners’ mussels—the oysters tasted very fresh, and the mussels came in a generous portion. Sadly, things went downhill after that. Our main dish, the St. Jacques risotto, was a big disappointment. The scallops were fresh and looked great, but the rice was bland, overly creamy, and had no flavor. It felt like a waste of such good scallops. Ending the meal like that was a letdown, especially since it wasn’t cheap. Thankfully, the service was friendly and attentive, which made up for it a little. Still, if you visit, I’d suggest avoiding the risotto—it’s really not worth it!

Nice environment and service! The food was ok. I was expecting that the fish was fresh but I'm pretty sure it was frozen fish... It worth it because of the view to the beach. Prices are fair. You can have the menu which includes starter+ main course+dessert for 35€ during the weekends. They have a large choice of desserts that are included in the menu.

Enjoyed a birthday lunch here this week and we were not alone! Other four tables were there celebrating too. Anyway great set up and service. Menú not as exciting as I would have preferred but what they had, they delivered well. Forgot to take photos of the starters and desserts but they tasted 😋

Professional staff and delicious food. We had a lovely dinner here two nights ago. But right after the sun set, being outside was too cold hence my steak became cold quickly. Though the view was breathtaking. We eventually moved inside for the rest of the meal. I love the dessert I took which was a chocolate layer cake with raspberry on top.

The quality of the food was amazing and within price range. The sea food was fresh and it was loved that the origins were written in the menu. If you're non french speaker, it might be a little difficult to make a wise choice. Overall, I strongly recommend.

Amazing place with astonishing food and view. We booked randomly and were amazed how good the place is. We didn't notice how almost 3h passed by while we were enjoying our lunch

Really enjoyable place to eat with delightful food and great sea views of the setting sun and the beach. Very hospitable staff, great service with good food.
