We stay here at least once a year on our trips to Italy and have never been disappointed. We always book the apartment to give the family more space and find it ideal and very quiet. Dog friendly and a great location with bars and restaurants of Chalons just outside. Parking in the courtyard (also an electric charger)

Location is great, just on the city center of the city. At the time I stayed, there happen to be a Christmas market just outside the hotel, since that is the big market place. Very cute. Totally would recommend for traveller's who are visiting the city. The hotel is chic, and is good value for money.

We loved this small hotel, situated directly on the Place de la Republique in Challons- en- Champagne. Our room overlooked the square. They upgraded us to a triple room from a double, which gave us plenty of space and lots of windows to check out what was happening outside. They told us it was their policy to do that if there was availability. The location is really fabulous. You can see lots of bars and restaurants, the boulangerie and a small supermarket all from the front of the hotel. There is a small interesting bar on the ground floor of the hotel , used by locals. It has the most magnificent refrigerated cabinets, full of bottles of champagne 🍾. There’s a mind blowing choice of a range of champagne to taste by the glass for around €8. The staff are very knowledgeable about the champagne on . You definitely know you’re in champagne country. It’s a really nice walk to some of the most magnificent sites and beautiful old town from the hotel. You can walk along by the river and see the beautiful timbered houses near the the tourist office. We were visiting in the middle of January and yet there were bars, restaurants and boulangeries open on a Sunday evening. The hotel offers cold plates in the evening and breakfast but we didn’t eat in the hotel as we were tempted by all the wonderful goodies in the boulangerie in the corner of the Square. We parked our electric car at the back of the hotel in the secure courtyard and were able to plug in for electricity overnight at a total cost of €25. There is also parking available in the Square which is paid by meter. I used the small gym off the courtyard. It was nicely laid out and although the equipment might have seen better days, it was still nice to have a little gym available. We were told you yeah, need to book the spa if you want to use it but you can walk into the gym at any time. Overall, we think this is a lovely hotel to stay in and we would use it again on our way to and from the Alps.

Its location is great right in the square of champagne, with a selection of restaurants within yards of the hotel front. Though beware, their food service hours are very limited. We found it impossible to eat when we arrived at 5pm, as they didn’t start food service till 7/7.30. The hotel only seemed to serve breakfast, which was ok, not great.|The rooms, well when walking to this, it felt like a cross channel ferry with metal doors and frames. In entering the room you could walk round the bed if the door was open. The bathroom was like being in a cupboard.|There was an efficient air con, and the bed was relatively comfortable.|Overall, ok for our overnight stay, but wouldn’t want to stay any longer.

The staff were generally friendly and helpful, the decor is maybe not to everyone's taste but you can judge for yourself from the website photos. Convenient location in centre of town. However, after checking out we received an email claiming that we had taken a cushion from the room and that they had taken a small charge off our credit card. I wrote back a polite message stating that we had (of course!) not taken a cushion and maybe they had made a mistake. They replied after a couple of days saying that they would only refund the charge if we returned a cushion and enclosing a photo of the bedroom before our arrival to document the presence of said cushion. I kid you not, this actually happened to us. A really unpleasant experience.

A nice hotel situated on a central square in Challon, within walking distance to the cathedral and main tourist areas.|Rooms are clean and ours overlooked the square - nice but noisy at night with the outside bar just below us.|There is a roof top terrace for smokers and a nice lounge area. The champagne bar is popular but also serves beer, wine etc. Breakfast is a traditional buffet style.|Parking is availble either in the courtyard or the underground car park. Book this in advance.

Perfectly located in Chalons en Champagne with municipal car parking in the market place immediately outside. Nice pavement terrace serving drinks and snack together with stylish ground floor bar. Surrounded by restaurants and 2 mins from the wonderful covered market.||Rooms on 1st Floor to rear of hotel were were quiet, small & comfortable but very plain & functional. Fine for an overnight stay but unlikely to be satisfactory for a longer break.||Didn't realise it was a 'spa' - no evidence of that from our visit.
