The INSIDE is one of the most under rated, and unknown things in Toulouse. It's a museum of the history of Toulouse in a way. If you're in the area, check it out. Able to get right up close to several amazing works of art. Best part... it's FREE.

Can't believe it's free to enter this historic building in the main square. There's a quick, mandatory bag check before entering but then you're free to explore. The upstairs galleries are beautiful and it's nice to see the council meeting rooms too. We'll worth half an hour of your time

Honestly, this feels like the only “highlight” in Toulouse. Big square, big façade… and that’s it. The zodiac signs on the floor are cool, probably the only interesting detail here. Apart from that, it’s just an empty space. For me: boring square, boring city. Not much going on.

Amazing building, a real museum open for everyone! The square is lively and full of people. You find something interesting in that area.

Such an unexpected delight! Was walking past the place on our way to see the river and saw a few people coming out and decided to explore it. So glad we did! The impressionist paintings were amazing as was the architectural aspects of the structure itself. Very much worth your time.

Interesting historical venue. Nice place to enjoy a meal and people watching.

Place du Capitole is a beautiful and vibrant heart of Toulouse. The architecture is stunning, the atmosphere lively yet charming. A must-see in the Pink City!
